As for sites like NewTeeVee and TechCrunch (which are among my favorites) reporting #'s like this I think it's more that they're not anywhere near as anal about numbers as we are. :) Chris @ NewTeeVee just ran with the numbers he saw on TechCrunch. He's ammended his posting and is checking with Tivo for actual #s.
