The networks may be attempting to provide a wholesome family image at some point during the week. All though I couldn't put a finger on a show that is honestly meant for families amongst all the sex, sports and spam(i.e. - Dancing With The Stars, reality shows that have no substance what so ever, no creativity, cookie cutter productions).
Sorry about that. But, my point is, in the courupt world we live in today, it's painfully obvious the impact television has on youth and society as a whole. It would not only be morally responsible of the networks to attempt a Saturday Night Family hour, it could take off, make them some cash......and save another generation of stupid, disconnected youth.

Years ago they used to have some of the best and high rated shows on Saturday nights - e.g. The Mary Tyler Moore Show and then The Golden Girls. People always went out on Saturday nights even back then, so what is the big difference in putting some high quality shows on Saturday nights? Also what happened to Saturday Night at the Movies?

I bet some of the flunkers would do well switching to Saturday nights and people would be forced to watch them.

Note to the networks: don't knock it till you try it!

And you wonder why you do not have anymore viewers on the major networks than you do???? Look at the garbage on Saturday night. What has happened to good ole family night? At least the networks could run a decent movie. Not everyone is gone from their homes on the weekends.
