Michael there are two different "universes" -- the universe of households and the universe of people over the age of 2. In the case of HH, the universe is 112,800,000 for the 2007-2008 season. A HH ratings point = 1% of that universe.

The viewership universe is out of 286,300,000 people, but I just provide the total viewers (Nielsen provided) rather than the Viewer Ratings.

You won't be able to make the math foot because more than one person per household can watch a show. My inclination was to just to provide viewers, but several people asked for the household data -- I suppose I could provide that total # of households instead of the HH rating. Thoughts?

What's the math to get to viewership numbers if you're given the rating and the HH share? I can't seem to get the same numbers as yours.

Thanks,
MKS

Susie, from a Cable HH Ratings Law & Order: CI was #12 for the week (2.6 HH rating), but did not make our Cable Top 20 when it comes to actual viewers (3.586 million). You can compare that to the broadcast viewers for last Thursday here.
