CBS has more viewers in 10pm hour than ABC & NBC Combined

CBS swept both viewers and the 18-49 demo on this “November Sweeps” Thursday. It’s lineup of Survivor: China, CSI, and Without a Trace dominated the night. Although Grey’s Anatomy did win the 18-49 Demo for the 9p-10p hour. On to the shows:

Why are people not watching the office? This under 10 million viewers and 6 percent of the share is no good. I'm just glad to see it's getting more share than Scrubs…..Scrubs is a fucking joke….unfortunately it isn't a funny one. Gives me hope.
41 million are watching CSI and Grey's. The Office is hanging in there considering the competition. And its 18-49 has to make NBC smile.
For one thing the comedy genre is waning and it is also up against the two most highly viewed 60 minute dramas.
The Office does not seem to resonate with the masses. I suspect there are a few reasons for this, but I like it the way it is (I don't resonate with the masses much myself). It consistently has a lot of DVR viewers (as a % of total viewers) but it's not enough to make it mainstream.
The only show NBC has that consistently does better than 10 million viewers other than Sunday Night Football is Heroes.

Big Shots did better than ER in total viewers and 18-49. Not by much but still better, I guess and hope that that is a positive sign for the chances that Big Shots will stick around.

Grey's Anatomy ran into the 10 pm hour. I would imagine that (unless this statistic has somehow taken that into account) this artificially increases Big Shots' ratings. The ratings are, after all, measured by the (half-)hour, not the show, right, at least in overnights?

Matthias, the crossover between the CBS shows was extremely effective. If the writers ever come back to work, I think they'll try some more of that.
