ABC took the night in viewers, but tied with CBS in the 18-49 demo. NBC on the strength of an improving Heroes as it heads towards its mid-season (now perhaps full season) finale and an improving (and renewed) Chuck performed nicely in the demo as well. Samantha Who? moving up 1/2 hour to 9pm held her own, although losing ~3 million viewers from the previous week in the 9:30 slot still fared far better than ABC newcomers Notes from the Underbelly and October Road. ABC made up for this with a season high in viewers for Dancing with the Stars.
Any of you network wonks, please feel free to chime in on this topic: why do you hold so steadfastly to giving a rat’s behind about “lead-in”? With soooo many shows either losing ~50% of their lead-in or bulding on the lead-in by ~50%, uh…what difference does it really make? Enlighten me! On to the shows:

is the Journeyman 18-49 rating correct? It seems quite high for a show with 6.2 million viewers.
Dave, good eye. We had the wrong numbers. They are now correct.
