Less Optimism Today, As Reality Sets In

Our latest (11/26) Show By Show Strike Status is here.

Yesterday’s unusual (at least to me) optimism has cooled to a realization that the strike isn’t likely to magically end anytime soon. Why anyone thought the producers would suddenly change their tune after the actions they’ve taken was beyond me. Still, folks are wondering what might happen if the strike ended soon.

Carson Daly is returning to work at his late night show and the writers guild is not pleased.

CBS News Writers are considering a December 10th strike date that would disrupt the Democratic Presidential debate.

European entertainment production giant Endemol looks to profit from the strike.

Ad buyers continue to be worried about the strike, but hope springs eternal.
