Indy racecar ace Helio Castroneves beat down Marie Osmond and Spice Girl, Mel B. to win the two hour Dancing with the Stars finale. The ratings were ginormous, and as a bonus I’ve included the half-hour breakout as well as the aggregate total.
A couple of other notes: nice to see A Charlie Brown Christmas which is almost as old as I am still has some juice and won the 18-49 demographic for the 8p-9p hour. Even with the huge ratings for DWTS, my favorite show on broadcast television, House, won the 18-49 demo for the 9p-10p hour. CBS struggles for viewers in the 18-49 demo on this final Tuesday of the November sweeps, and CBS newcomer Cane is gasping for air. I wonder if Gorman will change his verdict on Reaper, or just chalk it up to a DWTS frenzy. On to the shows:
