Although it wasn’t a stellar performance for the final installment of Monday Night Football in 2007, combined with holiday Bowl game fare, ESPN beats up on SpongeBob and knocks WWE: RAW out of the top 10.
While I was in no way surprised that more people (by far) watched Patriots vs. Giants on the broadcast network simulcasts instead of the NFL Network, I was surprised to see that only 4.49 million watched via the NFL Network. Earlier in the week it had been reported that an additional 9.2 million watched via the NFL Network bringining total viewers to 34.5 million. In the final count, I come up with 33.4 million (15.68 on CBS, 13.23 on NBC and 4.49 on NFLN). Still, not shabby at all.
