CBS took the most viewers and ABC took the 18-49 demographic on the last night where an original Grey’s Anatomy faces off with an original episode of CSI (it was the last first-run episode for each show). As is typical, CSI narrowly won the timeslot in terms of overall viewers with Grey’s Anatomy winning the 18-49 demographic decisively. In the 8pm hour, FOX was strong with Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?, which beat out ABC’s Ugly Betty in total viewers, with Ugly Betty winning the hour in the 18-49 demo. NBC’s My Name is Earl was strong in the demo, but 30 Rock lost about 1.7 million viewers from Earl’s lead-in. At this point, Gorman and I may be the only ones still watching 30 Rock.
CBS easily dominated the 10pm hour with Without a Trace decisively winning the most viewers, and tying for the 18-49 demo lead with ER. Full night’s results:
