Apparently when it comes to television viewing there is American Idol, NFL Football and everything else. Neither was on last night, but we’ll still report the numbers anyway. CBS won the most viewers for the night, but FOX won the 18-49 demo. FOX is perhaps the only network with anything to crow about as the lineup of Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? and Don’t Forget the Lyrics is vastly outperforming last year’s line up of ‘Til Death, The War at Home and The OC.
But, things being as they are the other networks, save for ABC and The CW will find something to crow about anyway. CBS can relish the dominance of CSI vs. Grey’s Anatomy when it comes to repeat episodes. Because in reruns, CSI got almost twice as many viewers. In fact, more people watched the rerun of CSI at 9pm than a new episode of Without a Trace at 10pm.
NBC (and probably the Donald) will crow because, well, Celebrity Apprentice and ER (yes, ER!) won the 18-49 demo between 9pm-11pm.

OUCH for big shots..the show had potential..I'd say after they air the last episode next week I think it is..big shots won't be seeing the light of day

Maybe they should have fired Rob Thomas a lot sooner. “From the producer of Veronica Mars” had to make quite a few people unwilling to even sample the show.
Veronica Mars, you'll recall, was wedged firmly among the least-watched shows on network TV for three years… and for good reason.

I wasn't a fan of Veronica Mars, so I'd say you have got a great point there. haha

Thanks Matt!
I do agree that the gender reversal idea had potential. ABC didn't do such a great job making the show look appealing, in my opinion.

I'm confused and a little upset. While I know Big Shots and Journeyman were cancelled, why does TVBigShot not give credit for first run episodes after the cancellation notice? That would at least take a little of the sting out of losing the money tied up with the shows when they were cancelled.

The 10pm hour shows how dangerous it is for the networks not to develop enough potential replacements (starting them on Saturday for instance
)
Of course, it also shows that quality is sorely lacking on Thursday at 10.
Of course, the executives will blame the internet and Lord knows what else other than the fact that ER and Without A Trace are completely devoid of any creative life at this point.

Susan, while we're the strategy bloggers for TVBigshot, we're not the keepers of the rules, so I'm really not qualified to answer your question.
I'd suggest asking in the TVBigshot forum in Television Without Pity.
