  • pretzelgirl, That's a reasonable guess, I just figure that a bit of steam has been taken out of Deal or No Deal, perhaps for awhile.

Also, I admit that I approach Sundays from the perspective of someone with $700 million to spent, not someone who's been playing the game since Sept and has built up so much money that they have to buy far more shows.

    Hi Bill,
I'm going to disagree with you about Deal or No Deal this week. Yes, Survivor will beat it, but it's ratings were much lower than usual this week, and it will have a chance of winning it's timeslot on Monday. So even though the lower ratings of Thursday's episode have to be averaged in, I think there is still a chance for growth and maybe one time-slot win, too. This makes it a reasonable risk--especially since most of the active players own it already and don't have to shell out the transaction fee to buy it.
  • Edit: Evidently, that episode of ANTM is considered a "special" for TVBS purposes and not buyable. It seems that the next ANTM that is buyable is Feb 20

    Hi Bill,
I too was interesting in picking up the premeire of ANTM, but it's listed as Notify rather than Buy. I wonder if that's because this ep is more of a clip package rather than the actual first ep of the cycle? Just a wild guess, but either way it doesn't seem to be available.
    Enjoying the blogs!
  • pretzelgirl, Thanks again. I am surely cursed when putting together that list.

    Hi Bill,
You reversed your numbers on SuperNanny. It is currently at 41 million and will go up to 47 million tomorrow, so it should be a buy.
