CBS won the most viewers during this sweeps Thursday with Survivor: Micronesia its only non-repeat,  but ABC had the most 18-49 viewers for the night due to demo success with Lost. 

Viewers for most nets saw fewer viewers than the previous week, but that’s not surprising with the Valentine’s Day holiday.  But we may see a The Peacock is the Home for the Lovelorn press release with both Deal or No Deal and Celebrity Apprentice adding more viewers from the previous week.

Notably so for Deal or No Deal, which last week reported 9.31 million in the overnights, this week 12.04 million.  Unfortunately, the one place this broke for NBC is with newcomer Lipstick Jungle, which premiered last week with an overnight of 7.62.  On Valentine’s Day it was down to 6.13.

Lost took a Valentine’s Day hit, last week Lost had 15.6 million in the overnights, but this week could only rustle up 13.6 million. it will be interesting to see if they make it up with increased DVR watching. 

I know I chastise the network execs for being insane idiots sometimes, and especially with Zucker sometimes that is not only easy, but also fun. But let me turn it around on myself.  Next year, I plan to be home watching Zucker’s network on Valentine’s Day.   Because this year, what I did was act like an idiot to  my good friend Stephanie.  A way more heinous offense than anything Les Moonves and CBS are doing with Big Brother.  Steph, I’m truly sorry and I hope you will forgive me some day.
