Here we see the stupidity of NBC (Silverman and Zucker). Cancel Las Vegas the only program that the NBC did make good results.

Celine’s tv specials usually garner much higher ratings, her 1999 special got around 18 million viewers, her 2003 special around 14 million, etc.

This was actually her 5th special, apparently it didn’t reach the success of the past ones? But still not too bad

Adam & Roger: eh, more people care about no-talents on American Idol who we’ve never heard of. A LOT more people care about that than Celine.

The Celine Dion Special on CBS was not to be missed! The lady has class, rythm and an outstanding voice. She was also sexy like we have rarely seen her before. Her performance with Josh Groban so moving and her ‘River Deep Mountain High’ opening was explosive.

Jon, Bill is on vacation with his wife and kids, and I regret I don’t understand the nuances of the game as well as he. I was under the impression that if you owned Las Vegas as of last Sunday to get the points for yesterday and sold it before Monday you would get the points come next Wednesday whether you were still holding the show or not. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.

Robert/Bill – I’ve got a good question for you. I bought Las Vegas last week on the TVBS contest, looking ahead to last night’s season finale (and intend on buying Amnesia for next week). Should I wait until the results come out next (Tues/Wed) and get the ratings price bounce on a show that is done and not get the premiere points for a new show. Or do it now and have Amnesia on my schedule for the coming week (or both)?
