Boilerplate: FOX’s time-tested lineup of Cops and America’s Most Wanted was (and it was never in doubt) again (and again, and again, etc) the most watched programming on a Saturday with FOX winning both the most overall viewers and the most 18-49 year old viewers. I know, you’re just shocked! FOX was the only network to score better than a 2.0 in the 18-49 demographic.
Update: March 16, 2008, 3:05pm, PDT: I saw the Georgia Bulldogs who’d won only 4 conference games all YEAR, win their fourth game of the tournament to be a 4-12 team in their conference and make the playoffs anyway. I also saw the Houston Rockets completely beat-down the Gasol-less Lakers, but none of that was better than watching Tiger Woods sink ~30′ putt on the 18th to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational. Wow. Still, as of now there are no Saturday results, but like you just EXPECTED Tiger to win, (I did!), you can count on FOX and Cops and America’s Most Wanted…sooner or later. And my boy Ted Leonsis’ Washington Capitals put the beatdown on the Boston Bruins — a nice Sunday afternoon of sports.
FOX won, and there’s not a whole lot worth saying. If you’re interested in the full details, here they are:
