As I write this it’s 45 minutes until the series finale of Jericho will begin on the east coast. Dang the luck, I’ll have to wait another three hours. I wish I had a hookup on the east coast to someone with a Slingbox so I could watch it live.
I’m going to miss Jericho! Commenter “Trish”, even if a little snippy got it right about liking the Jericho traffic to our web site, but she didn’t figure out that if Jericho gets cancelled all that traffic goes buh bye. But I’m looking forward to the finale, and also looking forward to the unaired cliffhanger, which will hopefully be available for download somewhere very soon after tonight.
But I hope they go out with a bang, and it would be fine by me if (fictionally, mind you) they blow the last nuke up in Cheyenne. Why? Because according to Google Analytics, although site traffic was fairly good yesterday and today and we had visitors from 70 countries, we only had traffic from almost every state, 49 out of 50. Guess which one sent us zero traffic?
You guessed Wyoming didn’t you? You’re right again. Delaware and Rhode Island were in the house, but no Wyoming.
So oh yeah, I hope the bomb explodes in tonight’s finale right in the heart of Cheyenne. But I hope Hawkins and Jake are far, far away when it happens. I’ll find out in 3 hours and 45 minutes.

Unfortunately it appears that SciFi wants to reinvent the wheel. Sooo unless something changes Jericho won’t return to the land of the living on SciFi.

It was stated by the cast and producers taht the “Tie It Up” episode, left things wide open for the show to continue. while the “Season Finale” episode would leave the current storyline open, they pretty well closed the current storyline while leaving the general plot open.

Great ending, but was it really the end? Does Texas and ohio take civil war in the states? Even thou this was the end, I think there is more story that could be told. Where the trail against the true enemy, what happens to peaceful Jerrico, why did no other country try and take over the us when all this was going on?

I love this show and am so sad that it is over.
I just long to see more, more and more, i wish that they could cut out some of those reality shows and keep this show around, it makes you think. good bye

I know its funny my wife is Jayme and I’m Ron soooo. anyway, The bottom line is a network tricked us. A network That Can’t Broadcast Seriously. you know CBS. They set up a scenario where sponsors cannot put their plugs in therefore no dollars for viewing. There is more proof that there was never a serious commitment on the network’s part to sustain the show than there’s proof that the viewers are at fault. This was a story of what IS great about America. It contrasted just how precious the US constitution is and what was lost to sustain it. I guess people just totally dig being with Lost, Survivor, Big Brother or whatever.

This sucks! Every week I wait to see the next installment of Jericho. Now It will be replaced by mindless entertainment. As someone else said it is the heart of America that keeps this show going. My question to you now is, “Has America died?” I feel that I am a true patriot and it disappoints me that a show that reflect a possible future for our great country is ignored. Does the american public not care about the strength of their brothern. I fully understand that this is fictional, but it does leave something to say about the state of our citizens mentality. How many ICBMs did it take to wipe out those countries and what’s the aftermath of that?) if the last superpower is at war with itself, how is the world economy coping without US?

This is the perfect show for the Sci-fi channel. I’m hoping they have the smarts to pick it up if CBS decides to drop it for good. I can’t believe CBS would drop Jericho for more stupid reality shows!ugggh! Just another reason for watching cable tv!!!

I love the show it was well written,
it kept you on your toes and had viewers
eager for the next episode. It just doesn’t
make much since that the show has low ratings
seeing on how CBS has been promoting the show
as one of their number one shows. Is there any-
one else out there that just can’t help
but to think pressure from the current
administration had something to do, maybe
it touched to close to home, with Haliburton i.e. Dick Cheney
haveing so many companys under their umbrella
that have government contracts here and abroad.

As a Person in Cheyenne I know we here watch the show. The majority of us have more important things to do than this…post msgs to a blog. If the show was really all that, they would at least make it somewhat believable that they are actually filming it in Cheyenne. We only have one hospital, no mountians and I have no idea what road they drove into Cheyenne on.

They do their best with what they have to work with. I doubt the budget allowed for filming on location. All shows and movies do this. Sometimes there is only so much you could do with the budget and landscape.

A feature length film would be awesome. Not sure how well it would do, but I’d pay to see a big post-apocolptic civil war!
Firefly did it with Serenity but they also didn’t pull in great numbers either so movie studios may shy away from the who ‘lets make a movie out of a failed TV show’ thing.

All of that is under the same umbrella as being able to shop it to a different network. It’s all in CBS Paramount’s hands to do. As I understand it, apparently garnering rights to do any of that is just about as hard as shopping it.
