MSNBC is the Obama network, to work there you have to pass a course in Obama butt kissing.

Why does MSNBC broadcast Olberman twice each night? All of their shows stink, but Olberman doesn’t stink quite as much they think. Olberman is much too full of himself, he comes off as a pompous jerk.

Olbermann will soon experience the same thing that is going to happen with Couric-fired!!! O’Reilly does not have to do anything but stick his rating in Olbermann’s face. Olbermann is a sad excuse for a journalist since he simply gives his own views and left wing dogmas. He does not have the guts to bring both sides of the issue forward and “let the people decide.” O’Reilly and FOX does that and that is why they are the premier Cable News Network! Joe, please take a long vacation and read some books. You are short on facts. The Iraq War is the most efficient war the USA has ever fought. Take some time and look up the casualities of our other wars. I assume it would be fine with the left if we were fighting the terrorists in Afg. In the last seven years the USA has not had one attack. Under Clinton there were six and we did nothing. I lost a good friend in NY on 9-11 and Bush has made sure it did not happen again. I am sure Obama will take care of us by talking with Iran. I guess we should have talked to Hitler!!!!! Jimmy Carter did such a fine job with Iran. Clinton did nothing during his presidency to stop the attacks on our country. History will prove Bush to have been right.

Go look at the Neilsen TV ratings (the ones the TV industry uses) and you’ll see that Countdown & The O-R Factor are pretty much level at 400k viewers per week (3/17/08). It’s only when you look at the over-60 demographic that O’Reilly takes the lead. And that’s the demo the advertisers don’t target, and the one that O’Reilly constantly downplays for fear he’ll look outdated, reactionary, and decidedly uncool. Viewed year-on-year, Countdown has gained 28% in the 25-54 demo, The Factor has lost 25%.

Most politicians and generals understand that if you control the media you can control the people- fear sells. It sounds like Keith O is doing an excellent job judging by the outrage of most of the dittoheads posting here. I know it’s painful for some to see just one program out there that is ACTUALLY slanted to the left as opposed to an entire network (guess who) that’s slanted the opposite. Keith never claims to be “fair and balanced”. People tuning in shouldn’t and don’t expect an unbiased view. The big difference is people who tune into Faux News actually think it’s “fair and balanced”. if you were really fair and balanced why would you need to advertise that all the time???
