		<description>I agree with Robert on the relative success of American Idol. Folks that don&#039;t have a new episode of CSI to watch have lots more alternatives for their time than Idol.

If early evidence is any indicator, new scripted shows may do just fine. The first new CSI:Miami this week &lt;a href=&quot;http://tvbythenumbers.com/2008/03/25/nielsen-ratings-mon-march-24-youth-demo-loves-britney/3056&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;did quite well on Monday&lt;/a&gt;.

However, several new reality shows have proven successful during the strike; Moment of Truth, Dancing with the Stars, American Gladiators.

Those are 3 hours of television that won&#039;t be going back to scripted shows anytime soon.</description>
