KO has doubled his audience in the past year and is far and away the highest rated series on MSNBC. He’s a little too frantic for my tastes, but there’s no denying that his show is on the way up. Is he going to challenge BOR? In the demo maybe, but obviously not in total viewers. FNC in general skews very old, while MSNBC is quite a bit younger (in cable news terms, anyway).

Oh, and just to clarify, I watched both BOR and KO before I tired of all of the “news” programs. The atmosphere on BOR is much more staid and canned than KO, which feels fresher and younger (not going into the actual content of the show). This is probably a reflection upon the demos that each is striving for (KO 25-54s, BOR 35-64s).

Yes, K.O was a sports newscaster out in So. Cal in the beginning, but he got CANNED from that job. Now he’s doing his extreme left wing slant and has the same guests on every night. KO has become the journalism equivalent to the interstate fender bender-much do about nothing. He simply slows our daily commute in search of trust worthy information. I used to watch KO a couple years ago. But he went super bias & I stopped. Bill usually has a thing or two to say that’s interesting even if he skews slightly left. AND THEN went to work for ESPN for 5 years. if you call that being “canned” then sign me up.

I know as much as ther is to know about So. Cal, I lived there for 50 years and knew of the 3 major networks out there. Again, K.O. was run out of town with a few others from CBS channel 2 in L.A. So what if he went to espn, so did Rush and Rush isn’t even close to being a sports newscaster. They come and they go. As for K.O’s current job, he’s an embarrASSment to all politics. Chris and KO have no experience growing up with black folks other than the upscale Cosby-Rice-Powel-Obama-Winfrey types and doesn’t understand white blue collar frustration with black crime and dependence/strain upon social services. How many “urban” blacks were at Cornell, Keith? That is why it is so easy for Chris and KO to ridicule anyone who questions Obama and his background. We’ve seen black folks like Rev Wright our whole lives and are already familiar with the underside of black culture that we do not like. When I hear Rev Wright and see folks like Obama sitting there nodding heads to outrageous comments, I see a congregation that can’t wait to get paid.

All I can say is that AirHead America was here in the Cincinnati area for a very short time before many many of us contacted their sponsors and told them that we would not purchase their goods until Air America was out of Cincinnati, and guess what, their gone. Life is back to almost normal now here in Northern Kentucky and the Cincinnati area.

Allen) last year….that always disturbed me about him…Keith KNEW it was a slur yet he still repeated it every night for weeks. He could have said “the ‘M’ word” or soemthing less offensive-that would have been less racist.

Hmmmm…I live in VA and remember that “M” word scandal. George Allen used the term once at a rally (he said he didn’t know it was a racial slur) and KO and Chris Matthews repeated the slur openly for days and weeks after that.
