Lost Has A 35% Increase From Time-Shifting
For the week of March 17-23, Lost’s audience increased by very large 35.1% (one of the largest & increases we’ve seen, particularly with such a big show) over the 9.908 million that watched it Live giving it a Live+7 audience of 13.386 million making it the leading broadcast show for % increase in viewing via DVR.
Smallville had its audience increase by 32.2% over its Live airing placing it second for the week. Rounding out the top 1o were Beauty and The Geek, America’s Top Model, One Tree Hill, Jericho, Everybody Hates Chris, Reaper, Wednesday’s Big Brother, and Tuesday’s Big Brother.
The CW again had the most time-shifted shows on a % basis with 7 of the 20. I’m not entirely sure that’s a good thing, because we really don’t know how advertisers look at timeshifted viewers.
