We’re used to seeing SpongeBob dominate the weekly 20 most watched cable shows, but this week’s square-panted dominance also led to a #1 finish (rare), but the Friday 8pm airing of SpongeBob was the most watched show on all of cable last week. Take that Yankees/Sawx!

If we ranked by household rating rather than viewers, Lifetime’s movie, The Memory Keeper’s Daughter on Saturday would’ve been #1. But we’re “most-watched” and more watched SpongeBob where Lifetime’s movie gets pushed to number two. VH1’s Sunday airing of Rock of Love cleared 5 million viewers and was third for the week. WWE Raw came in #4 and #6. The rest of the top 10 was all Bob all the time.

SPIKE scored with Sunday’s airing of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi at #12, and the New York Yankees vs. the Boston Red Sox had 3.9 million viewers (#15) on Sunday night for ESPN. Yankees/Sawx, Yankees/Sawx, Yankees/Sawx…all we ever hear about is Yankees/Sawx. No match for SpongeBob though. Sad. Just sad.

The NCAA Women’s Final between Stanford and Tennessee on Tuesday also took in nearly 3.9 million

To land in the #17 spot for ESPN. Back at the Barnyard placed twice for NICK on Saturday (#13 and #14) and the rest of the top 20? You guessed it. In the final tally, SpongeBob took eleven out of the top twenty spots and twenty out of the top 40. It’s no exaggeration to say Bob took up half the list.

ESPN scored again with the second round of Masters coverage on Friday afternoon at #23 (3.5 million viewers). Nick’s iCarly took the #21 and #36 spots. Wednesday’s South Park was #25 (3.5 million). MTV’s The Hills netted over 3.5 million viewers and was #22, and additionally landed the #32 spot. USA scored with NCIS (#37) and House (#39) and TNT placed Law & Order at #38. Saturday morning’s was #40. Disney was not on the list.
