I would like to know how you arrive at the numbers for your “What You’re Watching On DVR’s” ratings, ie: do you send out surveys, call people, monitor DVR viewing somehow, etc.??
This is a very interesting subject to me, as I haven’t seen my “most-watched-on-DVR” program listed which, by the way, I’m sure that millions of others are watching the same show on their DVR’s as well.
Thank You.
Connie, we get effectively all our data from Nielsen Media, both directly and indirectly.
They measure what folks watch on their televisions live and with their DVRs both by electronic people meters (used in the largest TV markets) and paper diaries (in smaller markets).
