The Phoenix Suns , as a professional team of NBA, is one of the major teams that has fans all around the world. It is quite normal if Phoenix Suns tickets are so pricy or hard to find because such great teams tickets worth any price. It doesn’t matter if we pay a respected price for Suns tickets because we satisfy our eagerness to watch good games and more than that when we go to watch a game it’s because we love this team and we shouldn’t be mean.

Rob, I agree with you. My earlier point was it would be a ratings disaster if the Laker were upset *before* the *conference* finals [i.e. in the second round].

Bill, I agree with you from a prognosticating point of view. But if the Suns vs. Lakers could’ve happened and it was programmed exclusively by ABC in the same fashion as the finals, I believe it would have probably outperformed last years spurs/cavs finals. Real or imagined there’s a real rivalry there (as far as the viewing public is concerned).

A middle of the year Kobe Shaq game on ESPN that had absolutely no significance and was a late game on the east coast did 3.6 million. that’s better than the PLAYOFF games are doing on TNT.

Bill, I really don’t think it will be that big of an upset if the Lakers lose before the finals. They would only be slight favorites over the Spurs in the conference finals.

Although I usually skip the players on 5 Good Minutes, I watched Nash and thought the same thing. He almost looked like he was on anti-depressants, he was so monotone/unenthusiastic.

I think the Suns being bounced in the first round is a negative for the TV ratings, but their potential for getting *past* the second round to the conference finals was very low, so at most the NBA loses out on 4-7 games with them in the mix.

The real ratings nightmare would be if the Lakers or the Celtics got upset before the conference finals. It seems very unlikely, but I bet a few TV folks are kept up at night by the prospect.
