I hate it that Shark and Women Murder Club was cancelled I really like both of them. I wish they would cancel some of reality show and leave the show that it seems that everyone liked .

Knots Landing was not as successful as Dallas until the last seasons. However, they both had problems in the final years because they could not compete with ABC,CBS,and Must See TV comedies.

well i guess im s.o.l.on friday night wwe smackdown,im on cable here and it dont have my network tv as a channel and your list said that cw is dropping smackdown .so i guess its bye bye to one of my favorite shows and im on mediacom cable

According to TV.com, the 2 hour season finale for NCIS is slated for 5/20/08 not 5/16 which makes sense since its a Tuesday night show. Please let me know if that is incorrect via another source.

jeanie3, Sadly, one of the mistakes I made putting this list together was not having a way to track all my sources for each change.

That being the case, Big Shots falls into the category of a show that has been generally agreed to have been cancelled even though ABC never explicitly announced it. In fact networks often, and Fox is probably the worst offender, pull shows from their schedules and make no announcement at all, ever.

Regardless, all doubts will soon be dispelled, ABC, Fox, CBS, and the CW will announce their 2008 schedules next week.

I was quite glad to see that Scrubs was moving to ABC for season 8! I’ve been looking everywhere for news on it and wondering what was going to happen. I’d heard that it was canceled after this season, heard only rumors that ABC had picked it up, and saw that next Thursday’s finale was only a season finale, not a series finale, so I was confused. Thanks for the information on that! Is this move only going to be for one season to finish up the show cause it didn’t get a long season this year due to the strike, or is this a more permanent change? Also, any news on what time it’s going to air on ABC yet? Thanks!

mad men already got a second season and it will air in the summer.

damages got a second AND third season, 2 is set to air in january (writers strike delayed it).

Ann, still no news on next year for Moonlight, but all the fans that visit here are hopeful. I’d give it better than a 50% chance of coming back.

We get so little cable show data, that we haven’t been able to form any opinion on the future of Damages and Madmen, sorry.
