CBS Trims Fox Viewer Lead, As Fox Demo Leads Grow

CBS trimmed a bit off of Fox’s season to date viewership lead with its results from the most current week, but that’s small comfort as Fox is assured of victory in all ratings categories for the season.

There don’t seem to be any other positions in the various races that are likely to change in the last week either. ABC is now beating CBS on a weekly basis in all the age demographic categories, but I don’t think that CBS’s second place position in adults 25-54 is in jeopardy, their lead is too great to be overcome in a single week.

The chart below shows Season to Date TV ratings through May 18 (34th week of the broadcast season).
