Last night’s episode of Battlestar Galactica “Sine Qua Non” was not among my favorite episodes, but by no means among my least favorite either. I don’t like politics, not in the real world and not in my Sci Fi escapism, and the episode was particularly politically charged. But one scene in particular made it a memorable episode for me. It’s what ensued after this:

And no, they did not kiss! If you missed the episode, it should be up on Hulu in a week.

Peter, I cannot vouch for the information but battlestarwiki lists 20:

Ah, thanks Bill. I decided to stop being lazy and look for myself to confirm that. It looks like Razor counts as 2 episodes and there will be 20 episodes for Season 4 totaling 22.
BSG has too many miss eps. Only a handful of eps this season has been very good, imo. I feel people underrate Stargate Atlantis just because it is not dark or dramatic enough. If you watched last season of SGA there were plenty of dark and dramatic moments to make a good show. I am so excited about next season of SGA which premieres on July 11th, that BSG is just entertaining me until the bigger and better starts.
Marc, though I liked SG1 more probably, I've kept up with SGA and it continues to grow on me. I really enjoy several of the characters and the relationships they have with each other: particularly the Sheppard/McKay characters and their relationship. The cliffhanger episode to end last season was particularly good and I'm looking forward to the premiere too. I think you're right that SG1/SGA get no critical love because it's often campy to BSG's dark and foreboding. SG1 and SGA both have had some horrendous episodes too, but is the far more entertaining franchise for me than BSG.
The fight was good and overdue in some ways. However, I'm reading more into Natalie-Six's death scene than this fight.
