While you are being so defensive of CBS are you also backing the pornographic material that they are allowing members to post on their forums??
I am sure that the ever important sponsors will not like it as much.
No matter how low you think Moonlight fans have gone it compares in no way to the sleeze being posted on the other forum!!!

I really think the only thing CBS regrets is dumping Close To Home, which performed much better in viewers and slightly better in demos than ML. That was shortsighted.

I dont think moonlight fans are crazy. They are just fighting for what they believe in. It does sound strange that CBS would cancel a show that was winning its time slot. Regardless, it appears moonlight fans have done a lot of good things like food and blood drives. If nothing else, you have to give them credit for that.

“Crazed Fans” Well I was just at Moonlight Convention and I did not see one crazed person there.. I think before we go around throwing names and insults around someone needs to know what exactly they are talking about.. Yes Moonlight has a devoted fan base and they are a group of very “unfangirls.” We are hard working men and women from all over the world who fell in love a wonderful television show for its positive aspects. I also have to say I have some of the most positive upbeat people through this… O and by the way I to am in Grad school working on my Counseling Degree… and I know what crazed it.. Not us.
What CBS did to us was incomprehensible they have ignored a huge fan base and took of one of the best shows on television. I had finally found a television show that did not insult my intelligence and entertained me at the same time. But, what do we know we are just the people that watch the show and enjoy it.
So please before you try and insult us learn a little bit more about the fanbase…

BTW, when a rerun of Moonlight aired against Dateline, Moonlight lost by 2 million viewers.

Fans are the ultimate clients. The advertisers are the middle men. Obviously, the advertisers rely on the fans to purchase said products/services. Otherwise there would be no reason to advertise!

to everyone else – dont act like CBS misses you! its summer programming and they dont care. numbers like that for friday night reruns during the summer are completely acceptable and so it is not at all like removing moonlight was like taking out a keystone. Rather, its like removing a handful of sand from a sandbox; nobody cares!

Moonlight fans have NOT bashed TV execs or employees, you need to get your facts STRAIGHT. Moonlight fans donated blood, registered for bone marrow transplant registry and delivered over 3000 pounds of food to the food bank.
