Unlike Monday night when reruns stomped reality, the tables were turned on Wednesday as Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance delivered the night for both viewers [8.73 million] and adults 18-49 [3.2 rating/ 10 share]. Likewise, NBC finished second for both viewers and adults 18-49 with the reality duo of Deal or No Deal and Celebrity Circus.
CBS’s reruns of Price is Right, Criminal Minds and CSI:NY delivered the viewers for a close third place finish, but the adults 18-49 stayed away and it finished fourth. ABC went with reruns of reality [Wife Swap, Supernanny] and managed only a weak third in the demo. The CW, who’s phones are in the process of being disconnected, managed only 2.31 million viewers for Farmer Wants a Wife. Edit: As my partner points out below, and I recognize, those results for a CW show, and a summer one at that, are relatively quite strong!

You sir are correct! My lens for looking at CW results had become obscured from disuse.
Indeed, a 0.9 in the 18-49 demo for FWAW, does make it a bona fide summer hit for the likes of the CW.
As you point out the far more expensive, and loved, Gossip Girl averaged only a 1.0 18-49 rating during the regular season.
Did you guys read about how the CW held a casting call for their “hit” Gossip Girl . . . and only four people showed up? Funniest story ever!
@Angie: Where? Got a link?
Gladly! http://nymag.com/daily/intel/2008/06/no_one_tur...
Granted, part of that was apparently because they only wanted SAG actors, but it's still funny.
