glad to see the jericho fans are still on a successful track … i doubt the show will be picked up, but i suppose if there was ever a group of fans to do it, it is the jericho fans … so hats off to them and i might just decide to join their number – it was a really great show!

13 comments with 2 of them being mine? I guess Jericho really is dead this time. Last June if someone posted this there would have been 300 comments. I guess most people know its really over this time. Jericho had its chance and even a rare 2nd chance and it flopped. Great concept but Season 2 pretty much ruined the feel of Season 1 when it turned out a big evil corporation was behind it all. Of course what else should one expect coming out of Hollywood these days?

I am glad to see the release posted here….it is very gracious of you to do so. Thank you so much for this and I hope maybe someday when Jericho does return to tv (whichever network that it may be on) you can give it a shot.

I really loved Jericho Season 1 but Season 2 was completely different show. Sure the same characters were there, but it fell flat with the loss of the outstanding Gerald McRaney and the 2nd season seemed rushed and had too much of a heavy handed political commentary that overpowered the characters who just seemed to be dragged along for the ride. I really didnt care when they cancelled it a 2nd time. Occasionally I stop by the CBS boards to see what they are up to but its over. The producers are trying to keep it going, but in reality Jericho for all practical purposes is dead. You just cant have ratings tank after a high profile campaign where 20 tons of peanuts were shipped to CBS. Thats what happened. I dont see anyone pouring millions of dollars into a show that was cancelled twice. It even showed up on SCI FI channel but they stopped Season 1 before it it finished ! Jericho was a groundbreaking series and Im glad I watched it but it just doesnt have enough fans to keep it going. It will go the way of Firefly – another niche series that had a 2nd chance and failed (a movie which didnt even make money).

Hopefully the concept will be tried again soon.
