The problem with The Mole isn't the concept… it's the editing. Whoever directs and edits the show has no concept of excitement. With The Amazing Race or Survivor, we head into every commercial break with some kind of cliffhanger. Something where we the audience aren't sure how it's going to play out. On The Mole, they'll go to commercial on absolutely nothing. There's no tension.
