Brian Williams, NBC Nightly News

Bolstered by above-average ratings for NBC during the Games, “Nightly” attracted 9.4 million viewers for the week of August 11, up from an average of 7.35 million viewers for the month of July. – The New York Times’ Briant Stelter on the NYT’s TV Decoder blog.  Citing a post on TVNewser (and  Brian himself was the original TVNewser) Stelter notes that NBC Nightly News is still down 12% among 25-54 year olds from the Athens games in 2004.

According to the new PEW results (http://people-press.org/report/?pageid=1358) all of the news agencies suck. NBC is at a low 24% believability rating. CNN came in with the highest, 30%. Pretty dismal.

LOL, yeah. “CNN. We Suck Less” lol. Good one Robert!
