I think this was the night of the gold medal women's beach volleyball match. I figured all other TV viewing would CEASE while that game was on. Why do you think SCIFI cancelled Stargate Atlantis? It earned the same ratings it did last season, and while the press release and commentary talks about "better" ratings for Eureka, that begs the question of what would happen if Atlantis were moved from Friday nights to another night. <br><br>Makes me wonder if the recent management turnover at SCIFI isn't going to curtail SCIFI's original programming budget.
