I loved 90210 in the 90’s. I still watch the Rerun’s. How ever I think the new 90210 stinks. Shannon aged alot also. You can see it totally in her face.

Final ratings for 90210 went down to 4.65 and the 18-49 demo dropped to 2.6/7 . . . they definitely were not near 5 million!

I dunno Roy. Here in San Francisco they had biplanes flying over advertising the premiere of 90210 — I’m sure that happened in several other cities at least. On a guess CW spent more promoting 90210’s premiere than GG’s season premiere, but it’s just a guess.

I’d be able to live happily if it was 90210 being whored constantly instead of that abortion Gossip Girl. They seem to at least be trying to act well instead of playing themselves as characters.

Nick: I think it’s what they do with shows like Supernatural that facilitate dislike of the network.

In any case, big win for the CW with 90210. They should have just done this last year instead of GG.

Hopefully these new viewers check out some other shows on the network, especially on Sep 18.

I predict their numbers will drop to 4.3mil next week, then hover at 4.0 for awhile, then wind up between 3.5 and 3.8 for the rest of the series. It’s one thing to lead a dumb horse to water, it’s another to make it stay there.

90210 is basically just the same teenage-drama crap that you can find on The N.

This new spin-off is definitely a far departure from the original series of the 1990’s.

People were curious and checked out the premiere, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t show up for next week’s episode.

Goodbye, and good riddance The CW.

Yes, WIPEOUT was a repeat last night.

As usual, ABC is screwing with thier viewers, so now we have no idea when the next new epsidoe will be. There have only been 6 originals and a clips show so far.

Wipeout was a repeat of the “Crow-Bar” episode – one of my favorites.

I’ll miss Wanna Bet. Hopefully this won’t be the beginning and end of Ant & Dec’s American career.

Was interested in the numbers for 90210 – especially since it was preempted in chicago area by Cubs baseball – it premiered at 10:30 last night on local WGN – all the hype had me curious but not enough to wait until 10:30 to watch it.

Both Berman and TV Guide had Wipeout as a repeat. If anyone watched it and can tell us otherwise, let us know.

Jack, we may see Shield results in a press release/story today. We will certainly get them with the weekly cable results next Tuesday, since I’m sure it will be in the top 40 list we get.

Wow. The CW won the key demos. Not a surprise since nothing else was on TV. Well, there was The Shield season premiere on FX. Will we ever see numbers for The Shield? Bill? Robert?

The the numbers would seem to indicate that Wipeout is a repeat, and Berman did designate it so, but the Fast nationals didn’t seem to list it as a repeat. Good numbers if it was, bad news if it wasn’t! I don’t know because I was skimming 90210 and watching Magnum Force on AMC in HD (”a man has to know his limitations…”)

I look forward to the CW release as well, but in fairness, it won the 18-49 demo outright (thanks to the convention) and crushed in the 18-34 (and would’ve even without the convention coverage at 10p) so that’s definitely a real win for CW.
