RAISING THE BAR WAS AWFUL. THE LEAD LOOKS LIKE A FRANTIC SCHOOLBOY ESPECIALLY WITH HIS LONG HAIR. SILLY CHOICE FOR LEAD. LOOKS DEPRIVE HIM OF LOOKING SERIOUS.
TOO HYSTERICAL NO LOGIC. BAD SHOW.

Mercy. I kept watching the show to see if was going to get better. IT DIDN’T. Mr. Bochco, have you lost your edge? I so loved your other shows and was expecting high quality. I was very disappointed. I will give it another shot but if the writing and the actors performances do not get better, I am out of there.

The show was good. It started off slow but, overall good. I dvr’d it, I wonder how much of a boost it will get from those numbers.

Joe our weekly cable ratings trail by about a week. We won’t see results for Monday September 1st until Tuesday September 9.

Hello Mr. Robert Seidman do you have the numbers for RAW on USA from this past monday? I understand the number was delayed due to Labor Day but I haven’t found it anywhere so i’m just curious thanks and keep up the great work this site is awesome when it comes to the ratings

I agree and credit for TNT for even calling out the “support from the strong leadin” in the press release. Sadly though, without any specific numbers for Monday night’s episode of The Closer (which I didn’t see anywhere else yet either). If nothing else, we’ll see them on Tuesday. When it comes to ad supported cable nets, it probably doesn’t get any more optimal than following The Closer and being commercial free.

Because most people don’t choose what shows to watch based on critics’ reviews. Airing after The Closer helped this a lot, and the ratings could drop now that people have seen it. Regardless, critics’ response often has an inverse relationship with ratings. Critics adore Gossip Girl and Arrested Development, while they trash Criminal Minds and 2 1/2 Men.
