“You Decide 08-Rep. Convention —9,038,000 viewers (3,538,000) (4,457,000)”
Holy crap! Am I reading this right? They beat everybody. Even the major networks? That’s impressive.
You do have to remember that most people watch their local stations, even if they’re broadcasting national news (NBC, CBS, ABC). Also, if you add up viewership for CNN, CNN HN, MSNBC, and CNBC, they always beat FNC. Also people watching Fox News favor McCain almost 9 to 1, while CNN and MSNBC watchers only favor Obama about 2 to 1. Interesting, because only 52% of FNC viewers consider themselves conservative (supposidly), which is similar for liberals watching CNN and MSNBC. So overall, most people are NOT watching FNC for their news, and most of these people are more politically diverse than those that watch FNC. What does that say about FNC’s claims to nonbias. CNN is still the highest rated for reliability, second to local news. FNC is number 9, behind MSNBC at 8.
I watch FNC for its “chuckle factor”. Always a good laugh for their “fair and balanced” political reporting. I could go on but I won’t:)
Fox news is the only channel reporting the true facts- or doing
any genuine investigative reporting on the Presidential
race. “Journalists” on other stations have become no
more than underinformed, opinionated spin doctors.
This is why FOX audience as grown to include more diverse
demographics. The above comments – comparing all other
networks combined claim that putting all viewers together-
more don’t watch Fox than do. Better recheck the stats
above on O’Reilly and Hannity and retract your claim.
Think Korbel is drinkin toooo much of the kool-aid (kool-aid with a ‘k’) wine!! No one watches Fox News except those over 55 and the 26% that think Bush is still doing a good job……sorta like ‘Brownie’!!!!
I think it’s funny that the mainstream media has created a new phrase for voters in States like Alabama, Ohio, Southern Florida, and Fox News viewers.
They call these voters “low information voters”. Hilarious…..translation: DUMB PEOPLE.
Fox News can be thanked for the Bush admin keeping the Whitehouse in 2004. Fox News and the “New Age Republicans” led by the “criminally stupid and ancient minded” like Gingrich, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, McCain, etc. etc. have been feeding “low information voters” in America misinformation based on fear. This is VERY dangerous.
The smart and informed Americans must stop the culture wars ASAP and help people get qualified information and do it in a humble way.
If your watching CNN/MSNBC they’re reporting that we are still losing the war in Iraq….enough said.
I wish CNN would take back the no 1 spot again and crush False News.
