Michael Phelps may be the best thing that ever happened for NBC, and it hasn’t stopped yet even though the Olympics are long over. This time it was for the Tonight Show with Jay Leno where The Hollywood Reporter says Phelps pulled the best numbers for the show since June 17. Monday’s show averaged a 4.1/10 in the early metered market ratings.
