            September 16, 2008 (Burbank, CA) – The CW’s sophomore sensation GOSSIP GIRL broke all of its previous records, skyrocketing to all-time series highs in every category, including women 18-34 (4.3/12), adults 18-34 (2.8/8), women 18-49 (3.0/8), adults 18-49 (2.0/5) and viewers (3.7mil), according to Live Plus Same Day Nielsen ratings for Monday, Sept. 15, 2008.   GOSSIP GIRL improved dramatically over its previous series highs (second season premiere) in women 18-34 (+30%), adults 18-34 (+22%), women 18-49 (+25%) and adults 18-49 (+18%).     

ONE TREE HILL soared to its best ratings in almost 2 years in women 18-34 (3.7/9), adults 18-34 (2.5/6), women 18-49 (2.7/6) and adults 18-49 (1.8/4), best since 12/6/06. 

With the perfect pairing of GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL, The CW was Monday’s #1 Network with women 18-34 (4.0/11), adults 18-34 (2.6/7), women 18-49 (2.8/7-tie), persons 12-34 (2.4/7), females 12-34 (3.7/10).  This marks the THIRD consecutive week that The CW has been Monday’s #1 Network with its target demo of young women. 

GOSSIP GIRL won its time period in adults 18-34, women 18-34, women 18-49, persons 12-34 (2.6/8), females 12-34 (4.0/12).  ONE TREE HILL also ranked first its time period in women 18-34 (3.7/9), adults 18-34 (2.5/6), persons 12-34 (2.3/6), females 12-34 (3.4/9).

GOSSIP GIRL and ONE TREE HILL also gave The CW its best Monday ever in women 18-34 (4.0/11), adults 18-34 (2.6/7), women 18-49 (2.8/7), adults 18-49 (1.9/5) and viewers (3.6mil).
