Bill, what do these kinds of numbers say to the networks? Has anybody done any write-ups as to what the networks do with this kind of information? How it affects their decisions?

I mean a million people downloading Heroes is huge, especially in light of the lackluster premiere. FOX has Prison Break and Terminator beating out Fringe every week. Do the networks scheme on how to get these people to watch live, or have they just written a lot of the online viewing off?

  2. a million people downloading Heroes isn’t all that huge because those numbers are world wide and not just in the USA. All the networks do with this type of information is consider whether they want to have their legal teams turn on the heat of shutting down torrent sites.
