Palin/Biden draws more than Obama/McCain on PBS Too

Posted on 03 October 2008 by Robert Seidman

PBS drew almost a million more viewers to its coverage of the Sarah Palin/Joe Biden vice presidential debate than it did for its coverage of the first presidential debate last week.

That is according to Nielsen overnight numbers that showed 3.5 million viewers tuned in on average to PBS’ debate and post-debate coverage between 9 and 11 p.m. That is compared to 2.6 million who tuned in Sept. 26 for the first presidential debate between Senators Barack Obama (D-Ill.) and John McCain (R-Ariz.).

Palen is the Margert Thacher of the West.

Thats pretty insulting to Maggie Thatcher. Can’t have imagined the Iron Lady being bamboozelled by Katie Couric for one.
