Are all those numbers actual? Does Cartoon Network ask everyone that watched their shows how old they are? How can a cable box tell you how old the person watching it is?

It all sounds like the same old hype that Star Wars is full of. Its over hype is nothing more than peer pressure, by people only out ot make money. Beat it into our childrens minds that, "IT IS YOUR NEW FAVORITE SHOW" as they said on the Cartoon Network ads. Nearly everytime I turned on the Cartoon Network, there it was, a ad for Star Wars: Clone Wars "IT IS YOUR NEW FAVORITE SHOW".

If what the critics said about the movie is half as bad as what I hear about the TV show it isn't as good as all the hype says it is. No matter how many people say how many people did or didn't watch it how old they are or are not.

May the Dorkside of the Force not be with you.

How come they don't mention the (probably huge) over-18 market? I want to know those numbers! They have to be aware that more than just kids watched it.

3.9 million...that's a number the CW would covet at this point. Of course they would hate the demos that Clone Wars got...

I thought so! But after I posted this it has been widely reported that it did 3.9 million viewers, which is very good for a cable show, particularly a cartoon.

Is it meaningful that the press releases never mentions the actual number of total viewers?
