  1. Pink Bear says:

Liberals have more heart and that’s why they win the ratings that matter.

Keith O. and Rachel Maddow are wiping Fox’s asses in my household.

I think this rating guide might be rigged and Fox is paying somebody off at tvbythenumbers.com

  2. Bill Gorman says:

Pink, yes, that’s a good idea, the measurement of your household can be projected as typical for the entire US television population.

I’d be happy if someone from Fox would pay me off. Sadly, no dice.

  3. derek says:

lol you would think msnbc whould get rid of there prime time line up!!!!I love it go fox

  4. Fabfugarrie says:

Where’s the old dudes?? Resting up for Oreilly?? One point…..Keith Oldermann will tell you up front that he’s about as far left as you can get.. No bones about it…He will tell you he is what he is..If you like it, you watch MSNBC. Oreilly.on the otherhand, plays this ‘fair and balanced’ crap that no one, but guys like Cattleman and LaLank, believe. He is, though he pretends not to be, as far right as it gets. So be it!!!! Thats his right and if you like it you watch Fox.. But at least be a man like KO and admit it!!!! Dont try to be,like Oreilly, something that you are not…. Oops, go back to sleep……

  5. cattleman says:

    Fabfugarrie,
I understand that you are incapable of trying to make a point without hurling insults. That point alone has a lot to do with why Kieth Olbermann has an audience. The question is … does he attract people like you or do you create personalities like him. I am not sure.

But you rant about me being old. First of all, I am young and your logic must be that only old people watch O’Reilly. Then if that is so, then I suppose that MSNBC is the home for the hip young brains like yourself. Well if you scrool upward you will see that in this very report there are numbers that are there for people to read.

There is a reason for these numbers: You are to read them and learn things about who watches the programs: I want you to read these numbers:

    25-54 Total Day
    FNC – 284,000 viewers
    CNN – 235,000 viewers
    MSNBC –148,000 viewers
    CNBC – 59,000 viewers
    HLN – 112,000 viewers

    25-54 Prime Time
    FNC – 520,000 viewers
    CNN – 274,000 viewers
    MSNBC – 160,000 viewers
    CNBC –a scratch w/46,000 viewers
    HLN – 102,000 viewers

Now when I read even this small cut-out of these numbers from this very report that you commented on it looks to me like more young people age 25-54 not only watched FOX all day but even at Prime Time. I saw one instance where MSNBC beat in the evening here: But they lost for the Total Day.
    25-54 Total Day
    FNC – 264,000 viewers
    CNN – 259,000 viewers
    MSNBC – 184,000 viewers
    CNBC – 144,000 viewers
    HLN – 126,000 viewers

    25-54 Prime Time
    FNC – 263,000 viewers
    CNN – 264,000 viewers
    MSNBC – 274,000 viewers
    CNBC – 135,000 viewers
    HLN – 115,000 viewers

Taking these numbers over any 5 day period and averaging them together you get a massive win by FOX oin the Total Day and Prime Time 25-54 demographic.

So maybe seeing as you have the maturity level and intellect of a bratty little five year old, then you mean “old” people as those in the 25-54 demographic?

  6. Zach says:

    Guys,

You do realize we are looking at weekend ratings? O’Reilly isn’t on weekends…maybe continue this debate when the numbers actually reflect he and Olbermans shows…Mon-Fri…not Sat/Sun
