Ratings Wednesday: Criminal Minds, CSI:NY Power CBS Sweep, ABC Fades

Posted on 09 October 2008 by Bill Gorman

Scoreboard CBS FOX ABC NBC Uni CW
Total Viewers (million) 13.094 7.405 6.251 6.020 4.215 2.871
Rating/Share: Adults 18-49 3.6/10 2.5/7 2.2/6 2.3/6 1.7/5 1.3/4
Rating/Share: Adults 18-34 2.2/6 2.1/6 2.1/6 1.8/6 1.8/5 1.7/5

CBS swept the audience title along with both adult viewing demographics Wednesday night on the strength of Criminal Minds and CSI:NY. Fox was second down the line (tied with ABC in adults 18-34) as Bones continued to grow all its audience groups. And ABC’s Wednesday night line up drifted lower, looking even weaker than its premiere last week.

Bones audience grew 5% from last week and its adult demo ratings did similarly as it increased its margins of victory in all categories and buried the competition from 8-9. Knight Rider fell about 10% from last week. New Adventures of Old Christine increased its audience and gained a tenth in the 18-49 demo, but its 18-34 demo was still startlingly weak. Prognosis: Negative. Pushing Daisies got pushed down even further from its premiere losing 12% of its audience, but maintaining its 18-49 demo at what is a dismal level. America’s Next Top Model took only a tiny audience hit, maintained its 18-49 demo, and grew its 18-34 demo a tick.

Gary Unmarried grew its audience and added a tenth to its 18-49 demo. It may have a better chance of survival than Christine, but I wouldn’t make long term plans for either.

Starting at 9pm it was all CBS as Criminal Minds began the rout growing its audience to 15.896 million and increasing its 18-49 demo by a big 0.5 rating points. Under the onslaught Private Practice faded, losing 800,000 viewers and a disheartening 0.8 18-49 rating points, but still nipped Criminal Minds for the 18-34 demo in the hour. Til Death drifted a bit lower from last week, further into the “why do they keep that show around” range.

CSI:NY continued the CBS steamroller at 10pm gaining over a million viewers from last week and boosting its demo ratings by a tenth each. Dirty Sexy Money lost over a million viewers and a quarter of its 18-49 demo to complete the humbling night for ABC. Lipstick Jungle fell about a half million viewers but held its 18-49 demo steady in what is still “see ya” territory.

Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs which are currently in approximately 24.4% of all U.S. TV households. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

  1. Steve says:

Sigh…bye bye Pushing Daisies. Will Bryan Fuller ever be appreciated for the brilliant television mind he has? Dead Like Me. Wonderfalls. Pushing Daisies. Ah well.

  2. Julia says:

Well, at least Pushing Daises didn’t drop in the demo the way Private Practice did. :(

  3. Holly says:

ABC is just dead on Wednesdays. PP and DSM both dropped significantly from their lack-luster premeire ratings last week. Next week DSM could loose to LJ in the demo.

On the other hand, the CBS comedies ticked up in viewers and ever-so-slightly in the demo. They aren’t doing great, but I think if they can reach (and sustain) 7.5 million and 2.5 in the demo, CBS will be content.

  4. Julia says:

And, hey, it looks like it actually increased in the 18-34 demo! Yes, the delusion that it might get a back 9 order is still strong.

  5. Batman says:

Those numbers are the lowest so far for those 3 ABC Shows!!!

It’s so sad especially I want those 3 seasons to last at least for 4-5 seasons. Jeez Pushing Daisies is now on its last season, and Dirty Sexy Money is in danger and Private Practice might be cancelled too!!!! Jeez

  6. Vech says:

How stupid are people? How can anyone watch knight rider over pushing daisies??? What can of audience takes a brainless, stupid show like that and not a brilliant, heartwarming show like pushing daisies? People are stupid…

  7. Holly says:

Julia, LOL at least you recognize that it’s a delusion ;)

  8. John says:

wow so many shows look like they will be canned this yr. private practice, prison break, terminator pushing daisies and knight rider. the prob is people dont need to watch thses shows on tv anymore what with torrents sites an all. the only show that deserves to stay is terminator.

  9. Kyle says:

FOX only has two shows working right now. House and Bones. They really need to get there act together and start chopping some of these stinkers (Prison Break, ‘Til Death, TTSCC)

  10. Bill Gorman says:

Kyle, while you may be right about whats working, Fox has never done well in the fall in recent years.

In fact, this year, they’re ahead of last year in two of the three adults demos in the first two weeks of the season.

    http://tvbythenumbers.com/2008/10/08/broadcast-networks-lose-7-of-viewers-8-of-adults-18-49-this-season/5940

  11. Darius says:

I think Pushing Daisies deserves to stay as well, at least from a quality standpoint if not from a ratings one.

  12. samatha says:

Knight rider is great…keep it on the air. I like shows that take my mind of sadness and world problems we are going through right now.

  13. Julia says:

Darius, unfortunately Pushing Daisies is on ABC, not NBC, so quality doesn’t really count for much.

  14. Holly says:

samantha, Knight Rider is in no danger of getting canceled right now. While it’s probably more of a sad commentary on the state of NBC than an endorsement of the show, KR will probably be in the top 5 scripted shows for NBC this week.

  15. Steve says:

“Darius, unfortunately Pushing Daisies is on ABC, not NBC, so quality doesn’t really count for much.”

I have more faith in ABC to let a show percolate than a lot of other networks. Fox would have already been done with this after few episodes LAST year. It wouldn’t survive on CBS since it actually gets good numbers, and I’ve never seen quality TV on NBC. :P

  16. Julia says:

Steve, whatever your thoughts on NBC shows, they allow shows with horrible numbers and no chance of growth to hang around due to critical acclaim and awards. (Think 30 Rock and FNL.) If you can come up with one example of ABC doing that, I’ll be willing to actually hope. Right now, at the most, ABC will let PD ride out its 13 episodes.

  17. Bob says:

Sice when crap means quality? PD is awful and thank GOD people relized it

  18. Johnthemon says:

it seems like wednesday’s as a whole are really tilted towards CBS. Even more so than other nights.

How has til’ death escaped Fox’s axe crazy chopping block? I’m in amazement that it’s stayed on this long. I don’t think Private Practice is in too much danger of being cancelled. It topped the 18-49 demo for its hour.

Pushing Daisies is…well Pushing Daisies…tying Knight Rider in the 18-49 is not a big deal…both won’t last another season.

  19. Andrea says:

NBC should cancel LJ and put Life back in that spot.

I wonder how the new shows tonight will rate: Kath & Kim (NBC), Life on Mars (ABC), Eleventh Hour (CBS). Also CSI premieres tonight. I know NBC and ABC are looking for some good news…

  20. FrankJ says:

If FOX does not move Terminator to the spot behind Bones it will be a shame. FOX could easily be second in the demo for the hour instead of second to last.

  21. Cameron says:

Wednesday night is a graveyard for ABC. Why has Private Practice fallen so spectacularly in the ratings? And David Boreanaz must be very happy about the success of Bones as he was vocal about not wanting the show to be moved.

    http://primetime.unrealitytv.co.uk/david-boreanaz-doesnt-like-fringe-heroes-or-the-new-knight-rider/

  22. Johnthemon says:

@ Frank J, i agree completely! Fox needs to move TSCC to Til’ death’s timeslot.

in my previous post I confused the 18-34 column with the 18-49 column :P sorry. But I still don’t think PRivate Practice is an any danger of being cancelled.

  23. Bill Gorman says:

I think Kath & Kim is in for trouble, but I’d expect Life on Mars and Eleventh Hour to both start with big numbers. It’s not like ER is going to be grabbing all those viewers at 10pm.

  24. Johnthemon says:

I think Kath & Kim has room for limited success. At best it could be the next 30 Rock and at worst it could be the next “Do not Disturb”. I think it’ll likely land somewhere in the middle.

  25. Foo Man Chu says:

Pushing Daisies is finished – appears to have been a passing fad. Its just too different for most viewers.

Knight Rider is getting ratings similar to MOONLIGHT – its on the bubble.

Private Practice is in a similar situation and probably more expensive than Knight Rider.

Dramas that dont get at least 9 million viewers or have a strong 18-49 demo usually dont get another season.

As usual Bones, CSI and Criminal Minds has no problems.

Maybe the could rename Terminator, CSI: Terminator? That might work!

  26. FrankJ says:

Actually they just need to call it Terminator. On FOX the scripted shows that do well have one word names: House, Bones, Fringe, 24.

  27. Bill Gorman says:

FrankJ, you may be onto something!

  28. dearme says:

Pushing Daisies needs a lead-in and that’s it. There is not a single reason to hate this show. It’s cancellation would be one of the biggest tragedies for television.

  29. FrankJ says:

Bill, the test will be to see if Dollhouse is a hit.

  30. Bill Gorman says:

If it is, we can mark October 9, 2008 as the day the “FrankJ law of Fox network scripted show success” was born!

  31. dave says:

ABC needs more hit shows so they can use them as lead ins. After Greys Anatomy is the only good slot for a new ABC show right now. I think they should move brothers and sisters on to wednesdays at 9. then u can put a new show at 10, and that show will have a decant lead in. Then sundays at 10 is where another new show can be developed, considering their lead in would be desperate houswives.

    just a thought :)

  32. Julia says:

Dave, that would only work if Brothers & Sisters could really work without its own lead in. It’s completely untested and could just fall apart, and ABC would be left with one less successful show, plus a hole to fill on Sunday, which may not be so easy to fill.

  33. Nancy says:

IIRC, there won’t be anymore new episodes of Bones in October. So, if those other networks hold off on canceling anything, perhaps there might be a glimmer of hope for Pushing Daisies.

I used to like Bones, but after the whole Gormagon garbage, I can’t stand it. Plus, the lead character Bones is turning into a stuck up, insensitive snot.

  34. Rob R says:

Well it is good news that “The New Adventures of Old Christine” keeps building week to week. Perhaps CBS’s faith in the show as a self-starting anchor was well-founded.

  35. Andrea says:

    Bill Gorman:

    Or maybe not. Firefly ;)

  36. Dave says:

I’m really happy to see Old Christine be the second best of it’s timeslot! The ratings have been increasing every week. If it can hold a steady 7.5, I think CBS will be happy. They just want this new comedy block to work.

I disagree with the comment that Gary has a better chance of survival. CBS knows Old Christine can perform excellently behind 2.5 Men and is starting to prove it can stand modestly on its own. They also know that critics like it and the Emmy voters do too. I think Gary might make it to a season 2. I definitely don’t think they will chose Gary over Old Christine.

Too bad for Til Death. It seems like FOX is so happy with the low production costs they don’t care about the ratings.

  37. Andrea says:

    Bill,

If I take a Drive to the Wonderfalls to see a Firefly, I will see that it has Vanished and that isn’t Justice :(

  38. Andrea says:

And there should be no Standoff between me, you and Frank :)

  39. Mandi says:

Yeah– ABC definitely needs to put PP back after Greys (what’s on after Grey’s now?) PP is floundering by itself. As for Lipstick Jungle, I have no idea what can be done. Too bad too, because this season is actually better (quality-wise) than last. Since Cashmere Mafia failed, couldn’t ABC pick it up? It would fit nicely in their line-up.

  40. sam says:

hey bill it seems every week u say christine is going to get canceled. it is getting close to Worst Weeks ratings without any good lead in It is a great and underestemated show. but is there a chance for cbs to cancel worst week and place christine back into its normal time slot?

  41. David says:

I enjoy watching Knight Rider for the same reason that was mentioned above it is mindless fun. I do not care for any of the shows on ABC on Wednesdays. I REALLY do not care for DSM. Who wants to see a bunch of rich people and their stupid problems. The country is hurting right now. People are losing their homes. Why do you think CBS and FOX are doing so well on this night. Those shows deal with crime and real issues that could happen to anyone.

  42. tom says:

christine is at 50 episodes. mid 60’s by end of season. cbs is not canceling it until they at least get to syndication. simple as that.

  43. Cam says:

whatever happened to the law & orders, they always pulled in good ratings for nbc?

  44. FrankJ says:

Andrea, I think the law still holds because weren’t all those shows canceled under the same “old” regime at FOX that killed Firefly? This will be a law for the new regime.

  45. matt says:

CBS has a killer lineup in more ways than one. Look at any top 20 tv list over the last few years and you’ll see CSI, CSI Miami, CSI NY, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Without A Trace, Cold Case, and on and on we could go. They may not be the quality shows but they are the shows that America chooses to watch and have been watching for years now. ABC has great nine o’clock shows across the board but they struggle to find the complimentary shows to close out the night. Despite their troubles, they’re basically two hit shows away from taking the overall viewer title from CBS. If Life On Mars turns into the hit that tv critics are predicting, it could become a game changer. They still have bonafied hits returning within the next few weeks and months; Samantha Who?, The Bachelor, and L O S T. Unfortunately, it’s looking more and more likely that the abstract gem, Pushing Daises, may only find its way to a second and final season. That show is so well written, you just watch and listen in amazement as the stories unfold each week. The other networks are non-factors at least until American Idol returns and even AI is starting to look vulnerable as they made so many gaffes that they drove millions of fans away by the time the season had reached its midpoint. It will be interesting to see how strong it comes back.

  46. Tyler says:

As for ABC. On the Pushing Daisies thing, I think if the show delivers anywhere from 5.5 to 6 Million Viewers, keeps getting critical acclaim, and if it has a successful award season next summer than I think ABC will keep it around. That would sort of be like 30 Rock. As for Private Practice as long as it delivers at least like 7 or 8 Million I think ABC might keep it around because I think the networks have a lot invested in Shonda Rhimes and she could go elsewhere so they don’t want to make her madd. Dirty Sexy Money will probably get the axe around midseason. Also, like I said ABC has a lot invested in Shonda Rhimes, if Life on Mars does not do so well, which I have my doubts, than ABC should put Private Practice on Thursdays at 10:00pm. Im sure their it would get like 11 or 12 Million Viewers.

  47. Bill Gorman says:

Cam, Law & Order:SVU is on Tuesday, Law & Order starts mid-season, Law & Order Criminal Intent went to USA.

Sam, it’s 100 episodes for syndication. Christine is a long way from that. The show’s results are definitely in the “do not renew” category to me, but I agree that reasonable people can assume CBS may act differently.

matt, don’t look for CBS shows in a list of Top 20 for adults 18-49, they had only 3 last season. http://tvbythenumbers.com/2008/05/29/final-2007-8-season-top-tv-shows-for-adults-18-49/3943

Tyler, any decision on PD will come long before awards season. I agree it would be unusual for ABC to clear out its entire Wednesday line up. Private Practice is down, but I don’t see it in any danger at this point. Pushing Daisies and Dirty Sexy Money, on the other hand, either pick up audience or they’re goners by the end of the season.

  48. BIG DADDY says:

Wednesday is just a WEAK night overall for TV shows.

Not sure why Fox didn’t attempt to have a BONES TSCC/PRISON BREAK combo especailly when you can avoid Football.

  49. Ike says:

“[NBC] allow[s] shows with horrible numbers and no chance of growth to hang around due to critical acclaim and awards.”

No, I don’t believe this is much of a factor. The main factor is demographics. NBC has mainly been targeting the lucrative Adults 18-34 and Men 18-49 demos. Chuck’s ratings last season weren’t so hot in 18-49s but last season it did well with young males, an extremely elusive audience. Some advertisers will pay extra to reach them. (Unfortunately now that show is falling further.) Most of NBC’s remaining sitcoms are (or WERE) also good examples. Their total viewer numbers are mostly horrible, but they’ve done well in A18-34s until recently. NBC kept “Scrubs” around because (for a while) it was an A18-34 powerhouse, believe it or not.

Also, NBC simply doesn’t have anything better to replace all its failures. ;)

Foo Man Chu: “[PD is] just too different for most viewers.”

That’s not the problem, IMO. The problem is that it didn’t stay dark and edgy enough. It’s getting more maudlin and sappy. It’s not morbid or grim enough any more. It’s too heartwarming. And the dialogue isn’t as clever. Plus, it’s getting repetitive.

A little of it went a long way. The writers didn’t change things up enough from one ep. to the next.

  50. Rado says:

Will Fox still move Bones to friday, looking the numbers? I think they’ll be crazy to do that!

  51. Bill Gorman says:

Ike is correct about why many NBC shows with low viewership keep getting renewed.

For example, 30 Rock has reportedly some of the best income demographics of any TV show. Sadly, we don’t see any income demographics data first hand, so I can only say “reportedly”.

  52. Bill Gorman says:

Rado, nothing that has been announced as a mid-season shift prior to the season starting is set in stone. It can all be changed. That’s one reason we write very little about mid-season until we’re much later in the year, its too much of a moving target at this point.

  53. R.G. says:

NOW HERE’S A Perfect example – FOX needs to move Til Death out of the picture and put “Sarah…Chronicles” after BONES – I think it will work for SARAH…but again it’s the wrong people in the wrong positions at most of these networks…

….and they don’t want to admit it would work – I bet if you put 3 episodes (for 3 weeks) after BONES – the repeats would fair equal or better and any NEW episodes of SARAH would dominate!

  54. tim says:

wow bill is New Advs of Old Christine dead in the water or is Worst Weak getting the ax? Im dying to know

  55. Julia says:

    Frank:

Andrea, I think the law still holds because weren’t all those shows canceled under the same “old” regime at FOX that killed Firefly? This will be a law for the new regime.

So does your law only apply to what doesn’t get canceled or is it about what is magically successful due to a one word name?

  56. Joe says:

Knight Rider is just too stupid to watch I can understand some people having rough times right now and want an escape but I can’t watch a show with such awful writing it doesn’t make much sense at all and I agree with some on here that it’s a real shame that Pushing Daisies is losing to Knight Rider in the ratings that is messed up

  57. LG says:

If fox wants to save TSCC they need to work on making it a better tv show. I really liked the first season. This season is just so so, at best. I do hope it gets better. And fox is gonna have to move bones once American Idol starts up again.

As for the rest of wednesday night, aside from criminal minds, who cares? Pushing daisies was ok for a few episodes last season, but it got old quick. And knight rider? 2 questions: Who writes that show? And are they 12?

Fingers crossed for Life on Mars go D.E.K.

  58. Cookson says:

ABC will be fine on Wednesdays once LOST is back.

  59. moonlightfan says:

I doubt life on mars will work out, american television has a strong tendency to muck up impressive english programs, remember Coupling, and men behaving badly. But they do have a prominent actor in it, if they could get some cool guest stars for that show it should work out.

  60. 1982 says:

Wow, what is going on with TV these days, nobody is watching! Well, not unless the show is about dead bodies anyway. Everything I watch suddenly tanks and ends up getting the axe. I don’t know why I bother…

  61. dave says:

what about private practice at 10pm after Lost. theres a nice lead in for pp.

  62. Julia says:

Moonlightfan, the pilot for Life on Mars was… not pretty, but the promos I’ve seen for the recasted first episode have improved my opinion of how it’s actually going to be. But we shall see.

  63. JT says:

Private Practice is just living on Grey Anatomy’s name. That show is BLAH. It won’t be cancelled, which is a shame.

    DSM is nothing special.

Pushing Daisies is a GREAT show, too off-beat and whimsical and “cutesy” for the general audience. Im surprised it lasted as long as it did. It should be on a cable network, it’s not catered for the mainstream audience.

Also to the guy who said PD became “sappy”: I have to disagree. It was never grim or morbid or dark. It has always been a big-hearted show. I can see how the act gets old for some, but for some like me, it’s a gem, which obviously means it will be cancelled.

  64. Rich from Aussie land says:

ABC’s Wednesdays are in dire straits, they should have tried something different this fall. Heres a possible solution.

Sundays: 9pm Housewives followed by Private Practice
Mondays: Dancing With the Stars then Dirty Sexy Money. Give DSM the lead in as Boston Legal is in its final season.
    Tuesday: Same
Wednesdays: Pushing Daisies followed by Brothers and Sisters then Boston Legal.
    Thursdays: Same

  65. Paula says:

In my opinion it’s a shame that ABC will back a show like Private Practice and it’s mediocre ratings and stories because of Shonda Rhimes while a show like Pushing Daisies which had 13 Emmy nominations and is a critical favorite will be on the chopping block. Another show ABC has Eli Stone, had a tough time last year and has had very little promotional backing for it’s Tuesday release will most likely struggle as well, while less than creative programming will last and get backed. Every week I see ad after ad for Private Practice and I cringed while watching it this week. I just can’t figure out why a network who gets great respect for shows like Daisies may abandon it and push other shows that don’t really produce considering all the advertising put into them to promote them on fans and critics who aren’t responding. I’m wishing luck for Pushing Daisies as it’s truly one of the most creative and well done shows on television right now as far as I’m concerned.

  66. Paula says:

I just want to say to Rich from Aussie land, why why WHY would ABC cater to Private Practice and move it to Sunday nights when it’s line up is so strong on that night? I watch ABC on Sundays for DH and Brothers & Sisters and the ratings are pretty strong for both. Why would they move Practice when B&S has settled nicely there? Why should Rhimes less than quality show be pushed into a time when the shows currently there have earned it’s time there? I sincerely hope ABC does not do that as Practice hasn’t earned that time spot at all. If it was a quality show, it would do just fine where it is. It struggles because fans aren’t really interested. It would be a really bad idea for ABC to move anything it’s got on Sunday nights as Sundays are WORKING for them now.

  67. Fernando says:

NOOOOO!!!! Pushing Daisies, I’m about to cry! Dude it can’t be! It’s an amazing show! OHHHHHHHHHH!
    Seriously!

Save ABC’s wednesday, Save the world!

  68. Rich from Aussie land says:

Paula, remeber Grey’s was given that timeslot in its first season and thats where it built its audience. Personally I think both shows are rubbish, but for ABC’s sake they really need to try something else as Wednesdays are failing for them.

As for moving Brothers and Sisters, it has developed a strong audience and it should be able to stand on its own two feet now, why not try it out in another less competitive timeslot?

It looks like Knight Rider might be safe for now as NBC have ordered more scripts.

“Knight Rider” is a GREAT show, and a worthy sequel to the 80’s original! I hope that as more people catch on to the show, its ratings only increase. A great success for NBC, it gets better every week.

Wednesday belong to CBS with its killer lineup of Criminal Minds and CSI:NY. Both
shows are averaging so far this season a 15.99millions viewers and 4.3 demo for Criminal Minds and for CSI:NY 15.11millions viewers and 4.0 demo. I doubt that T:SSC with its 5.7millions viewers and 2.2 demo or Lost with its last season average of 12.70millions viewers and 5.3 demo, will be able to beat CM and CSI:NY.

Yes I do realize that last year demo numbers for Lost were better than this year demo numbers for CM and CSI:NY but Lost started the season at an amazing 6.7 and finished with a 4.9, that is a big drop. So who knows what it will do next year.

Granted, Lost would do much better against either CM or CSI:NY than Private Pratice and Dirty Sexy Money.

I adore Pushing Daisies!!! It is the most original & fun show I’ve seen in years!
One of the few shows I never miss! I was upset when the season got cut short. That’s
probably part of the problem- no repeats, it hasn’t been on the air for like 10
months. The audience needs time to warm up to it, again.

  73. jeff35023 says:

Pushing Daisies is the most STUPID SHOW I have EVER EVER EVER seen on TV with the exception of THE TELETUBBIES and that is for kids and British. STUPID STUPID STUPID They cannot cancel it quick enough for me. Who else agrees it is stupid and the production dollars could be spent form better shows. Apparently most of America agrees looking at it’s numbers

  74. Pushing For Pushing Daisies says:

Pushing Daisies is by far one of the best shows in Television right now. This show is not for KIDS or TEENS… so let’s take them out of the equation. This show must continue even if on a cable network or something… It was meant to be “cheesy”… it was meant to be “fake” because of the fact that you are watching a TV SHOW and not a REALITY TYPE DRAMA. Pushing Daisies is a break from all of the nonsense shows out there right now. Pushing Daisies brings original programming and content week after week after week… and I really like the lead girl.. she’s hot! Let’s keep the Pie Maker’s show on please!!!!!

  75. jeff35023 says:

They aren’t tuning in because it’s a stupid show. I would rather watch Barney.

  76. ivan says:

Pushing Daisies is a great show but it is a cruel money hungry world and people are mainly dumb. They will miss it when its gone. If they ever get it…
