Combined household ratings for the Major League Baseball Championship Series on Fox and TBS through Oct. 12 are up 8 percent over last season, according to Nielsen Media Research data released by MLB.

if I’m reading that right Fox is actually *down* versus last year when it had Red Sox/Indians ALCS, but with the Red Sox this year, TBS is WAY, WAY up versus last year’s Diamondbacks/Rockies NLCS. Red Sox nation is good for ratings.
Too bad for them that the Sox won’t be in the World Series this year.
