While The Unit’s numbers have remained consistent, CBS still doesn’t advertise this show with any consistency. It advertised the premier only a few days prior to its airdate 9-28. But it is still a great show. Let’s advertise more for this show CBS!!!!

No matter how much DH and Grey’s decline, they will be on probably as long as Law and Order or ER, as long as key members of the casts don’t leave for movie careers, ask for too much money, etc. Fan loyalty, a brand name, and amount of money well-known corporate sponsors are willing to pay, as well as the income per capita of the viewers of a particular show, mean more than the raw numbers. And think of the negative publicity if a network was to cancel a popular and well-known show like DH, even if the ratings were one-third of what they were in 2004. It aint happening.

Actually, the show that’s increased the most on the CW is Supernatural. The first three episodes averaged a 42% increase in viewers over last season. And for a show in its fourth season, that’s pretty impressive.

In an ideal world, Gossip Girl would be out of there since it’s pure unadulterated crap, but it gives Dawn O. the tinglies so I guess that’s out.

We don’t see the Fri/Sat Univision numbers until Monday and for now, there is not enough interest to make it worth our while to go back and update the weekend data on Mondays with the Univision data. Sorry.

Robert. I think SHOW DE LOS SUEÑOS is better, since that’s the name that appears on screen.

Writing SANGRE DE MI SANGRE , it’s like writing “THE REAL ORANGE COUNTY”, AND NOT LAGUNA BEACH (the real name of the show)

How come we don’t get to see the numbers for UNIVISION on friday and saturdays?
I was tryng to make a Top 100 list, but it would be anfair not to include the UNIV. shows on fri. and sat.

ok wow. i didnt think anyone can program worse than the CW, but apperently MRC can. CW buy sundays back! wow i cant beleive i said that, but atleast their shows would all hit 1 million viewers. I definitly feel like the CW is getting stronger from last year(minus sundays and fridays) But a few of their shows have rose a little bit in fewers, especailly gossip girl. And if im the CW i buy sundays back A.S.A.P.!

I’m just ticked there was no Simpsons last night .
Surprised to see Sunday Night Football so low.
I was hoping Desperate Housewives would continue declining, but apparently some (most) wishes don’t come true.
Sunday is obviously CBS’ down night.
The CW cannot get any more pathetic, I’m certain. Do you think bankruptcy is a possibility?

I think the days spectacular ratings for a premiere are pretty much gone. Chalk that up the last entertainment strike and the longer than normal wait times for favorite shows to premiere.

What I’ve found looking at the overnight ratings for The Unit is that we kept the 9 million viewers from the premiere (Sept 28) but have gone down slightly each week.

It would help boost ratings if the same day DVR viewing didn’t end at 3 am BUT did end at 6 AM. Who watches a recorded show that starts at 10 PM between 11 PM and 3 AM???? That’s just nonsense.

DH dropped significantly from the premiere to the second week, but this week’s ratings are pretty much the same as last week. It’s not going to go back up to its premiere ratings, but right now it doesn’t seem to be dropping any more.

Wow, isn’t Housewives declining by large amounts week to week? If DH and Grey’s can’t return to their previous numbers I don’t really see other shows that had smaller audiences doing so either. I think the days of expecting a show to hit 10 million viewers a week to be considered a keeper are behind us.
