I am bummed cause I loved Enemy…I have always liked Slater’s way and the humor in it was fun. I think it will be my new favorite. Heroes is getting soooo crazy with the “who is bad, who is good”, I will give it a few more times and that’s it. The Mentalist…seems to be trying too hard but I only watched one episode. Let Enemy live a bt longer so people can check it out.

I thought the script for PB was for 5 seasons total. This is #4 and they are awfully close to syndication numbers…..
I see it getting through the 5th season.

I agree with what you said Andrea, and that might be their downfall. All I am saying you keep flinging stuff at the wall as you put it you in hopes that something sticks, you may be doing that for quite awhile. Granted the ratings that FOX has on Monday night are not the greatest and what they hope but they are stable. That is something that the previous shows that I listed did not have.

DWTS is hard to beat and CBS is maintaing a decent second with a sitcom lineup. The only thing you can do is counterprogram…and don’t forget to factor Monday Night Football on ESPN.

The only CBS sitcom on right now that I really care for is “The Big Bang Theory.” That is a show I can fall on when TSCC is canned. I don’t care for “Chuck” and the rest of the CBS sitcom lineup including “Two and a Half Men” which is THE popular sitcom right now but still not as popular as “Friends,” “Seinfeld,” or “Everybody Loves Raymond” were.

Speaking of Seinfeld; I have to say that the show is still doing well in syndcate reruns, while others have worn out and dropped off; Seinfeld is been stable all this time.

DWTS peaks my interest if their are ’stars’ that I am intrested in watching…and this cycle does not impress me like the last two.

Outlander, things are looking noticeably better for Prison Break than they were just a few weeks ago. I think it’s too early to call it gone in January.

Fox has already publicly commented that TSCC and Prison Break are both going to air all the way through Q4 of this year. No promises regarding Q1 of 2009, of course, which means probably no renewal.

Isn’t it interesting that the playoffs didn’t really net Fox significantly better ratings than TSCC and Prison Break? Really, it got about 1.6 million more total viewers and maybe an extra 0.3 in the 18-49 share over what TSCC gets. Gee, maybe the problem is the time slot . . .

Rob, I would agree with you. At its current position in our Renew / Cancel Index Chuck looks like it lasts the full 2008-9 season and then doesn’t get renewed for 2009-10. Although its definitely close enough that it could show improvement and make it another year. I’d be pretty confident it gets all 22 episodes this season.

I know that Chuck is not setting the world on fire with its ratings but i have a feeling it is gonna be safe for at least this season. Whether it gets renewed for a third season or not will be determined later but i think it will get a full 22.

RE: MOWE, I’m surprised it did so (relatively) poorly. I thought it was one of the better pilots this season and NBC has been pimping it harder than AMC does Mad Men. Robert– how did it do with regards to the other shows on NBC? Shouldn’t 7.3 still put it in the top 5 for NBC?

Really missed TSCC and PB last night. Didn’t know they wouldn’t be on.
