KO wins the 25-54 demo and no notice, no press release, no nothing?
Even MSNBC is smart enough to know it’s just a one-off thing…definitely not a trend in the making, especially after Nov 4th. Interesting how weak Fox was last night though…
Not only KO won the 25-54 demo, but so did Hardball & Rachel Maddow. MSNBC won the overall primetime demo as well.
There will be some pissed off wingnuts tonight!
Yes Fox will be dust when Obama is elected.
Keith O. & Rachel will be the only ones telling the truth about Pres. Obama & what a great job he is doing. Fox will knock him down every time.
Fox your days are numbered when Obama is president because I’m hoping he’ll put a muffle on your broadcasts or fine you for treason.
Not just Keith, but MSNBC as a whole wins the night in the 25-54 audience.
O’Reilly seemed to do worse than usual, which helped. Plus, MSNBC seems to have hit on something with Rachel Maddow’s new show.
Well I think fox will be getting their usuall lead after this election I mean this democrat flavor of the month is great and all but can this bias eventually become detrimental for the mediasince I have heard so many complaints on how all media is becoming too liberal making it somehow possible for it to eventually become a monopoly such as the example of Russia where Putin does not get any bad press even though his extreme stances makes him a new candidate for the next power hungry dictator of our genration.
People get tired of the “24 Hour Ayers/Rev Wright” coverage. Fox should give it up, already. Hannity is about as nutty as Limbaugh. It’s hard to watch that show because Alan is too soft. And the “fair and balanced” tag is no longer. People want fair news. I watch CNN.
Guess Faux New is gonna get punked all week! Specially with the Bachmann expose … hahahaha.
To be honest I watch all of these shows often, on both networks. Reason is, they are all biased and have agenda’s, as long as one knows that fact, they are harmless and eventually through all the B.S. you can actually get the facts. It’s those who watch just one and only hear and agree with one side that are more susceptible to being duped (see 2004 election).
What I will also say is that in my opinion MSNBC seems to attack McCain-Palin more about their knowledge, ideology and their records, whereas FNC attacks Obama-Biden on a more hurtful, personal and almost “icky” level-for a lack of a better term.
In a 12 month span to imply that a person is a terrorist-appeasing, elitist, socialist, radical, dishonest, racist, grossly unqualified, anti-American, unpatriotic, Muslim-extremist definitely gives FNC the cake as far as ugliness in “journalism”.
There slogan would be more accurate should it read “Fair and Balanced (to all those who agree with Rupert Murdoch’s ideology)”
Congratulations to FOX!! In just about every category, night after night they dominate!!
They must be doing something right…
What am I missing? In every category from top to bottom FNC kicks MSNBC’s ass. I could care less about ratings but to put KO in the category of anything that resembles a human being is ridiculous. I suspect that many of KO’s audience is a lot like me – I like a good laugh. Only an idiot could take him seriously. Maddow looks like a man in drag. O’Reilly is a pompous ass, Hannity is obnoxious, and Colmes is a wimpy nerd. I can’t take any channel news station seriously because we have two terrible candidates running for prez so all the talking points are pointless. Next year at this time Americans will be challenged like never before and we will regret what the D.C. crowd has failed to do for us for many years.
MSNBC has to look at something that is positive, because their shows certainly aren’t. Bottom line is Fox outdraws the MSNBC crowd. And I didn’t know that KO was human. No matter whom wins the election, it will be a difficult time for us in the future.
Some of you are so stupid that it’s not even funny!
You can’t really compare MSNBC Vs Fox News numbers… Not right now.
MSNBC is available to far less households than Fox News…so go figure! Due to carrier issues, many people in New York don’t get to watch MSNBC. With that said, I am however very impressed with Chris, Keith and Rachel’s numbers. Watch out FAUX News!!
Sonny, Incorrect sir! Read the bottom of the post. The network coverage for the cable networks in this post is almost identical. Only tiny differences in the audiences can be explained by the different coverages.
Olberman is an intellectual fascist!
Really now!!! The only reason people watch MSNBC is to see if Chris “tingle up my leg” Matthews froths at the mouth like he has rabies. Olbermann is definitely constipated by his strained expression and well, Butch already has maddcow disease. It is like watching a train wreck over and over again.
Like I said before we must elect all democrats from the city up to the president or Fox News will still broadcast.
I hear the democrats want new fair doctrine regulations once they are installed in office. They are all only hope.
And in two years, we must keep a democrat congress or Barack will not be able to stop Fox.
Hah! Similar to the population, view on here are soo diverse.
I wonder where my viewership is counted cause like pp I tend to jump through all channels too. CNN gets old quickly and Fox Noise is unbearable. MSNBC on the other hand is quite entertaining!! I feel like aresponsible adult when I scan all three outlets to make sure I have a grasp of all of the latest developments cause like many Americans I am officially a political junkie now. What will I do with myself after Nov 4th? Any ideas for a new hobby maybe…
Only smart people watch MSNBC.
Uneducated idiots watch Fox Noise.
Hey Pink Noise, did you see the Pew Research study, where they asked O’Reilly, Rush, KO, and other audiences questions like ‘Which Party is in Control of the House of Reps, Who’s the Prime Minister of Great Britain, ETC? The O’Reilly, Rush audiences blew away Keith O’s crowd. In other words, your peeps didn’t test out as very intelligent, so your comment doesn’t match the facts.
Bob, I want the link to that study. It slightly flies in the face of one they did about misconceptions about Iraq. basically almost all of FNC’s audience had at least one huge conception (we found WMD, ties to 9/11, and I think one more), and the rate got lower and lower as you worked your way down, leaving NPR listeners with the lowest. I’m pretty sure MSNBC was closer to NPR than FNC in that ranking.
And Pink Bear, again, the FCC can NOT control cable channels. Only broadcast.
Just to clarify, they can regulate anything that is sent over the public airwaves (NBC, CBS, ABC, PBS, CW, MY____, etc.) But not cable (Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, Cartoon Network, HBO, TBS, TNT, ABC Family, CNBC, Bloomberg, Fox Business, Comedy Central, E, etc, etc, etc) Please please please stop making liberals look like idiots
Papabear O’Reilly usually sees his audience drop off 50% after elections. Average daily viewer will drop to 2 million. While Olbermann keeps growing non stop. From 2004 to 2008 Olbermann grew from 300K to now 2 million at this rate Olbermann will be 12 – 15 million by 2012 while Papabear O’Reilly will half ever 4 years by 2020 he will have 200K or less dead beats watching him.
lol … @ —-> PapaBeargotPunked. You are funny!
I love Keith, Rachel and Chris. MSNBC is simply much much better than Faux News!
Fox will not survive another two years.
Time to celebrate their dismise.
No way Pink … Faux New will survive no more than 12 months.
A President Obama and Democratic Senate and Congress would lead to to skyrocketing ratings for Fox. Everyone not dumb enough to be a Liberal, would see CNN,MSNBC fall for Obama head over shoulders, and blaming the 43rd President for Obama causing the second Holocaust, a regional nuclear war, and the complete collapse of the World Economy.
MSNBC wouldn’t last six months, CNN 13 months, and conservatives would team up to capture all Liberals and send them to Antarctica after impeaching the worst President in US History.
That is an ignorant, partisan post “Uliberalidiots” — you would make a fine partisan president. Pardon me, but have you looked at the exit polls? Or do you make the assumptions that liberals/Democrats are dumb? Majority of urban higher education voters chose Kerry in 2004! AGAIN, get your facts straight before you spit out Republican garbage! You would fit the mindset of a Republican, to sit in Iraq and fight for 100 years like a stubborn idiot and then give the country back to Iraqies that hate U.S. Yeah, you are a smart one alright!
Chad, you forgot to mention that Kerry also carried the urban high school dropout voters as well as the urban poor. Don’t you think you should use another source instead of the 2004 exit polls, since they showed Kerry won. Maybe you should get your facts straight, instead of getting you marching orders fron The Daily Kos.
The only higher education voters who voted Kerry were liberal Professors from Columbia University and other Far Left Colleges.
College Graduates Voted Bush 52% to Kerry 46%,Genus, and who are more for the economy-becoming Business owners.
