Maybe this year it actually turns into a funny sitcom. (LOL- Right!) Meanwhile, actually funny sitcoms over the period, My Wife and Kids, and George Lopez, are axed. Still, ABC has worked magic before with dead shows. I remember several years ago believing that The Bachelor was ready for the trash heap, then they managed to transform it into a stand alone hit. This summer it brought in big numbers and according to its fans has helped to make the upcoming season one of its most highly anticipated seasons. With its other marginal shows I would say that Eli Stone is in the most trouble. The other two are showing signs of life, but really all three need to pick up the pace.
