Great news for Supernatural and Smallville! Two of the CW’s best shows are doing well in the ratings, despite the total lack of promotion. Yep, good storytelling really does attract viewers.

October 31st, 2008 at 9:08 pm
Yaaay!!! I really like the direction that Smallville is heading this year and Supernatural’s S4 mytharc is great!!! Good to see the CW taking note.
October 31st, 2008 at 11:24 pm
Yay! For Smallville and Supernatural. I’m so happy for and Proud of them both, because they bravely chanced New Ideas to keep them Fresh, especially Smallville, and wrote better stories with improved character developments. It’s been so much Fun to watch. I’m excited Every week and have Not been disappointed once. We (fans) must be spreading the word through our enthusiasm, because there has been little to No Promotion for these series by The CW. Congrats to the whole production teams and actors of both shows.

OMG, everybody run… hide! Frogs will start to rain from the sky any minute now since CW giving any recognition to Supernatural is surely one of the signs of the coming apocalypse. **grin** Smallville has been fun to watch this year and SUPERNATURAL is simply phenomenal!! I have no idea how they will be able to keep up this kind of quality for the entire season as they have set an incredibly high bar for themselves. But I have faith!! And I am so happy to finally see some recognition. (hey CW… can we have some of our budget money back now?!)

Well, it’s about time the CW is acknowledging the awesomeness that is Supernatural. Just think – the little engine that could, IS.
Sweet!

Wow! what happened that the CW remembers SPN and Smallville?
I am shocked! What’s next? promotion? No, I would get a heart attack from the all the love by the CW.
November 1st, 2008 at 4:42 am
I’ll believe in the love when SV and SPN are given additional shows like their “pet,” Gossip Girl, or when SUPERNATURAL is given back some of its severely cut-back budget.
Words are easy.
Let’s see some ACTION, CW!

Nice to see something from the CW about Supernatural. One of the best shows on TV.
November 1st, 2008 at 8:05 pm
go!!! smallville!!!!!!!! season 9!!!!!!!!
November 1st, 2008 at 9:20 pm
We need a season 9 of Smallville. It’s the best show on TV, Great actors, Great Storylines. We need Smallville for another season, Let’s make the show go on for 10 years or more! Just two more seasons to make it 10 years. Come on, THE CW, if you were to get rid of tv shows, just look at the ones what’s getting the least amount of viewers, not the most -cough-Smallville-cough-

Those have to be the most confusing stats I’ve seen in a while, because apparently no women are involved. That fact aside, I’m so happy that these shows, especially Supernatural are doing so well, despite the lack of attention that CW gives them. Guess those packages that WB sent out to critics really is working! Now if the CW actually promoted them… imagine what could happen?

I have to admit I’ve never really watched Smallville before and started watching it October 30, 2008 because I’m a fan of Kyle Schmid’s. I thought he and the other actors were great in it but I’d love to see more of Kyle there, for purely selfish reasons of course. I’m also looking forward to seeing the movies he and Aaron Ashmore are in together.

I only started watching smallville as of oct last year.
My friend was watching when i went around and i got into it..i think it was an Ep from season 6.
Anyway my friend said if im gonna to start watching them then watch from first season you need to know the characters to get the most out it so i went out and brought them on sale…….and he was right i was hooked by half way through season 1 that started watching them pretty much back to back, now im waiting for new season 8 eps….and a big fan of the show.
Hope the show lives on beyond season 8.
