CBS, Fox Split Kudos In Eighth Week Of Season

Posted on 18 November 2008 by Bill Gorman

For the eighth week of the 2008-9 season (November 10-16), CBS . CBS had the largest audience, and the most adults 25-54 and adults 18-49. Fox edged NBC for the most adults 18-34 for the week.

CBS’s average viewership of 12.31 million beat ABC by almost 2 million viewers. NBC with 7.74 million and Fox with 6.78 million were well behind. For demo adults 18-49 it was CBS over ABC by 4.35 million to 4.05 million. For adults 25-54 it was CBS over ABC by 5.32 million to 4.65 million viewers, with NBC in third (4.02 million) and Fox (3.59 million) fourth. In adults 18-34, Fox edged NBC with 1.75 million to 1.74 million for NBC.

Univision was fifth across the board, and the CW was sixth across the board, as always. I am now including the tiny broadcast networks in this weekly chart for those wanting to note that TeleFutura averaged 20,000 adults 18-34 during prime time last week.
