NEW YORK – November 19, 2008 – The season finale of Bravo’s watercooler sensation “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” was the highest rated “Real Housewives” franchise telecast ever in all demographics, according to Nielsen Media Research. Last night’s episode posted a 2.02 household coverage rating, garnering 1.68 million adults 18-49 and 2.21 million total viewers, up 51 percent among adults 18-49 (vs. 1.11 million) and up 48 percent among total viewers (vs. 1.499 million), compared to the prior week’s episode. The season finale was also the No. 1 cable telecast for the day among adults 18-49 and the No. 1 cable telecast in prime among adults 18-34.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is Bravo’s highest rated freshman series since “Queer Eye.” The series’ first season was also the second highest rated “Real Housewives” season ever, behind only season three of “The Real Housewives of Orange County.” The full season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” averaged 990,000 adults 18-49 and 1.312 million total viewers. Online, the series’ site surpassed all previous “Real Housewives” seasons and series, earning 18.6 million page views and 2.34 million video streams – BravoTV.com’s best ever video streams for a premiere series.

OMG, Sheree is the fakest most immature adult that graced Bravo. I understand that everything is sensationalize to get ratings, but it’s so obvious that she’s insecure and has issues of her own. I feel she’s insecure because she always has to put Ne Ne down about her looks…which I think she’s jealous because Ne Ne is a free spirit and is not afraid of confrontation. She gasses Kim up but when they are in front of the opposition, she sits quietly like she’s afraid.
Also, in Sheree’s case, you can be schooled all day about the finer things, but money doesn’t buy class…what would she be doing if she had not married a ball player???
Okay but did anyone notice on that finale Sheree wore the same type of shirt NeNe wore but in a different color on the show the previous week. That makes me think from all of the previous shows were Sheree would say NeNe has no fashion sense why would you have the same shirt.
I love this show!!! I can hardly wait until the new season..Okay, NeNe is my girl. Ghetto yes, but tells it like it is. DeShawn Snow is boring…Said it, mean it….Nice, but a complete bore. I personally LOVE this show … with so much “Reality” (using the words loosely) it’s hard to really sit down and watch anything – this is the 1st show where they are not screwing each other’s men or bad mouthing their babydaddies – These are women who are different in their own rights – look different – act diffrent and have different interest -and i love it – I think the TV portion of this is getting to their heads but I would love to see tthe second season of this if it is in the works & maybe add someone to shake things up abit -

First, I want to start off by saying I really enjoyed this series of Real Housewives–Best By Far!!!!! I really like NeNe of all the women on the show because I feel there’s no fakeness about her. Her honest, outgoing free spirit makes her a beautiful person. Lisa, I started out liking her and her drive to make money, but as the show progressed I noticed that she is an undercover instigator. She pretends to want to get people together, but we all know that she was partly the cause for the blow up between NeNe and Kim. Sheree, what can I say? Sheree is so phony, self-absorbed, and insecure. She is a decent looking person, nowhere near as decent looking as she thinks. Either way her attitude let’s me know that she is the absolute ugliest person on the inside because it shines through. And finally Kim, she is okay other than the fact that she is materialistic and can not sing. I’m most concerned for her kids because Kim puts so much emphasis on the importance of a “Name Brand” in front of her girls, I hope they don’t grow up thinking thats all there is to life. Anyway I absolutely loved the show, look forward to next season!!!

I love this show and can’t wait for the next season! Of all the ladies on the show, NeNe is my favorite. She tells it like it is and is true to herself. That is what a real woman is. DeShawn is sweet, sweet, sweet but she almost doesn’t really fit in with the rest of the girls. Lisa tries too hard to be the coolest, but it just comes across as fake. I feel sorry for Kim…for someone trying to portray classy she is failing miserably at it. She needs to find her own man and keep her cooch closed when the man is wearing another woman’s wedding ring! I hate, hate, hate Sheree. She looks like a transvestite. Has she looked in the mirror sideways and seen that ski slope of a nose that she has? I love DeShawn, she is so sweet and always getting pulled into NeNe’s mess. I felt like NeNe was not being a true friend to DeShawn when DeShawn had her aution. She should have told DeShawn that she was making a horrible mistake by not selling the tickets, but she didn’t, instead she took the idea for herself. A true friend would have spoke up instead of letting DeShawn and her project fell miserably!! NeNe is ok, but she brings alot of badgage along with her, she needs counseling, she has some serious issues!

The show is a trainwreck, but I love to watch….. Where to begin…Sheree… you claim to have wanted to be a fashion designer all of your life, but never taken a fashion or sewing class? You spend more time picking out the models pouring drinks at your party than with your own designs!!!Isn’t that what your entourage is suppose to do? And with all of the stylists, make-up artists and hair stylist that you surround yourself with, why are your children always looking so raggedy? Kim suffers from delusions grandeur. I love Dwight and NeNe please bring them back next seaon better yet. Have a spinoff show of just the two of them going around Atlanta dining at the hottest restaurants, club and different events. They seem to know all the latest gossip and trends and that’s what women love to watch.
Please have a 2nd season! This show was the best thing smokin’ on Tuesday nights. This is the only “housewives” show that I watched.

Deshawn, Deshawn, I give it to you for staying out of all the drama and being the peace maker, but what the hell is up with your mouth? Other than the weird slick down in the front (baby hairs maybe), I personally liked your hair.
Sheree, you have nice skin but thats about it. I agree with the person that said you ex looks like a cyclopse. If you have to constantly talk about NeNe to make yourself feel better, then you are an ugly person, inside and out.
Kim, if Sheree was your real friend she would not have lied and said you sounded good after hearing you sing. Take it from someone who wont lie to you, you sound like shit.
Lisa is a pretty woman, but some of the things she wears is very, very wrong (suit at NeNe’s fundraiser with the shoulder pads). You know you started the whole fiasco with NeNe and Kim. Deshawn is to much of a peacemaker to do something like that.

Initially I didn’t like NeNe because I thought they were trying to make her a stereotype but then I found her honesty quite refreshing. Sure she could have more tact but I guess that is why we love her. Sheree is full of herself, fake, and thinks she’s the best thing since slice bread. Look honey the world doesn’t revolve because of Gucci and Prada. Kim needs to stop listening to other people and get a clue. Be an adult and go to the source if you have a problem with that individual. FYI you’re tone deaf..YOU CAN’T SING. DeShawn may seem sweet but she comes off as if she’s trying too hard to portray something she isn’t to the cameras.Last but not least Lisa I admire a woman who can be independent and not just rest on her husband’s money. She just needs to mind her own business and not get into Kim, NeNe and Sheree’s drama.
Nee Nee so down to earth, she’s easy to relate to. She shows everyone you can be a strong woman and still be personable. Kim was cool in the beginning til she fell in love with Sheree. “You are soo beautiful”. She needs to put her homosexual energy into looking for a job. Would someone please tell the girl that Sheree is not really a man! Anyways, Deshawn is nice, she just needs to recognize that this is a recession period and cut some spending ASAP! Lisa, glad you wise enough to make some investments. Maybe Deshawn can get some pointers you lil instigating, fast-tailed…!
I like Nene and Dwight, Sheree is unhappy on the inside and has low self esteem issues that’s why she has to look good on the outside (because the inside is so ugly) Deshawn needs to loose so weight, Lisa started that drama between Kim and Nene and now she wants to be the peacemaker because she knows that she started that mess. Poor Kim everyone has already said it can’t sing needs to stop smoking and walking around with a drink in her hand get a job and be a good example for your kids, be a mother to them not their friend that can happen later on down the line after you’ve raised them and stop being a kept woman.
First of all, great , great show, but the season finale and the tease to the next season totally horrified me. Ladies, ladies and I use the term loosely! Lisa, I initially thought you were the only one with the goods–the only one worth watching.
Everyone one in Atlanta knows black folks are progressive, motivated and getting their share of the pie. But, in that one episode and the tease video on the Bravo website you took it to another level. The worst level of all. Why did you join in with NE NE and become a totally ghetto, hood rat?
Everything all of you, Deshawn included, did to motivate young girls all season long was flushed down the toliet with the final video entry onBravo’s webpage. The tease video to the next season is disgusting.

I ‘accidentally’ ended up watching the show and ended up liking it. NeNe, my heart goes out too. You may be able to take the girl out of the ghetto, but you can’t take the ghetto out of the girl. She is messy and embrassing to herself, her children, and her husband, who keeps her grounded. She has a good man!!! I wish her well with finding her father. Sheree, she needs prayer. Words can not express the type of person she is. One thing for sure, she is no true friend. I missed whatever happened between her and NeNe in the beginning, but dang, true friends are able to get over the petty stuff and move on. GUess they never were true friends. Deshawn, she needs to face reality. When she did the auction, I almost cried for her. She is the peace keeper, bless her heart, but needs to come to the realization that everyone will not be friends. NeNe’s mouth ruined that. Kim, is my favorite. I like her relationship with her children and the respect she has for them. Am I the only person who thinks that Dewshawn is the most biggest ass golddigger on this show? I kind of knew it in the beginning but now I definitely know especially when you talk about how someone else’s money is not guaranteed and you trade your mans stuff in for your own satisfaction when if it wasn’t for him your fat ass would’ve still been in them projects in Detriot and broke as hell. Nene is ghetto but real and everyone has to remember that what makes a person connect with others. You might not appreciate her ghetto behavior but she relates to many. Lisa is a fake as can be. She is a trouble maker who pretends she is a peace maker. She cannot be trusted, but she looks like the typical black man’s trophy wife. Kim, is trailer trash and she has no financial stability. Kim lives in a townhouse, which really shows that homegirl is not paid. She is selling her soul for designer cloths and low morals, which is a terrible thing to teach your kids. Deshawn is a little fake, but I’m glad to see that she is a regular black woman who is married to a wealthy black man. I hate when people talk about her weight because not every woman is ment to be skinny. Sheree is just a mess. She is attractive, even though she is a little hard in the face. She is too self absorbed and that really makes her ugly. Overall, I love the show. Im happy to see that Black women are doing the same thing as wealty white women. We can attain wealth and live decent lives like everyone else and that’s why I love Atlanta
i have been keeping up with the real housewives of atlanta since it came out…its funny because i see certain qualities of myself in all of them…let me say that nene and her husband are my most favorite…i relate more to nene…i feel that yeah nene can be over the top at times but she knows how to have fun and knows how to be a true friend (so far from what i saw in the show)…her husband seems like the sweetest person and is very stable (reminds me of my boyfriend lol)..its almost like they are opposite as far as how they go about doing things but they compliment each other…as far as her talking about kim in the car i believe she was a little inebriated and was hurt…its crazy that the situation got blown out of proportion…i would say this…i believe everyone has been in a situation when a best friend talked about another best friend…it does not make it right but everyone is human and no one knows the circumstance…but for someone to go back in tell thats like creating more drama…i do not know if lisa wanted to create more drama…but lisa you know they were already feuding somethings are better to keep to yourself…i do like lisa, but like others say i think she might have some things that she needs to work out in her personal life…i see myself trying to be “captain save a hoe” and the “peace maker”…i am an impartial person when it comes to two of my close friends fueding and i dont go back telling the other friend what the person said unless it was a misunderstanding that will have them talking and being friends again…but i do like that lisa has a business mind…i like that her and her husband do everything together…i think people underestimate deshawn…she has some fire in her…i think she is the one who stays far away from drama…but has everyone forget when she was trying to call sheree and sheree was giving her the run around about the auction..she was rolling her eyes and then they had her in the confessional saying and not in the exact words, “if she doesnt want to do it then at this point i am moving on”…lol…i loved that part…sometimes i do think that deshawn might be full of herself (the interview with the potential estate manager and the charity named after her)…shoot if you have the money then live it up…but overall her heart is in the right place…..i think she is a true friend that you can be able to confide in….her and her husband compliment each other as well…now to kim…i used to like kim and i wish her and nene would be friends again…but i didnt like the fact that kim talked crap about sheree and then they became “best friends” yeah maybe she was blinded by the fact that nene had a problem with sheree at the beginning… also think that if she really wants to be a serious singer she needs vocal lessons…as far as “big poppa” is he trying to buy her love? i know that he is married, but kim what are you doing for yourself when the checks stop coming in maam? seriouly…but doesnt it seem that everyone tries to kiss sheree’s ass? “oh you are so pretty” just stop it already…not saying that she isnt but damn…sheree you shouldnt consume yourself with someone you dont like…but i feel like she goes out of her to talk about sheree…she might have deeper issues or really just does not like her….and everyone’s gay boyfriend nene’s and sheree’s looks like fun…also everyone’s chefs remind me of g garvin lol…overall i like the show…
RHOA (Real Housewives of Atlanta) does one thing for me: It proves that you can take the rat out of the hood, but you’ll never take the hood out of the rat. The fights, the name calling, the cursing…it reminds me what I see in the poorer areas of Chicago. Snoop Dogg’s show, Hulk Hogan’s show, Tila Tequila…they all have more class than these “ladies” (very loose translation). I would be surprised if it gets picked up again.

I really like NeNe she is the realist on the show she never pretended with anyone, she seem like a fun crazy person , that is rich, in life & fake She He is just the original hater .NeNe has something that She he don’t have and that’s a man , sex and sanity, because if she had this , then she would be much nicer. Lisa is very hyper she need to calm down and try to get back her two other children from old keith sweat the begging billy goat De ‘ shawn is ok kinda like a big bragger , but ok cause if I had it I would be glad of it to,but over all she is blessed and has a nice attitude.
