Wheel of Fortune needs a spinoff called Wheel of Misfortune.

They start off by giving you $1,000,000 in prizes - Cash, House, cars, electronics, college funds, IRA's, ect

Spaces on the wheel would include. If you guess the wrong letter you lose whats on the wheel slot.

House Foreclosed
Car Totalled
TV explodes
TV explodes burning down House
TV explodes burning down House and Car
Inflation devalues bank account by 10%
Taxes go up 20% to pay for bailouts

Thanks, "Doghouse". I'm not 100% on this, but about 95% sure: I think the confusion came because for the two episode first weekend Nielsen labeled the show oddly (that was the 5.8 million viewers). The 4 million and change was for the third episode and the B&C info above was for the fourth episode (even though they said it was for the third episode!) and too low unfortunately to show up in the results we receive.

Broadcasting & Cable has this to say about LotS:

--

National ratings for the second week of Disney-ABC’s Legend of the Seeker were down 31% to a 2.0 following the highly anticipated two-hour premiere, with three million viewers tuning in. Week two of Seeker's ratings was based on measuring the one-hour show in double runs as opposed to week one when the show's entire two-hour premiere was measured. While the show was down overall, it was up in many big cities, including a 200% gain in Kansas City, 50% in Dallas and 37% in Orlando.

That paragraph is included in their wrap-up of syndicated ratings for the week November 10th through 16th. TV Week also has the same information. But that was when the fourth episode aired, not the third episode (the first one-hour show). SCI FI WIRE finally included LotS in its Top SF&F Syndicated Shows, giving it a 2.9 for the week November 3rd through 9th.

I'm not really that big a fan of LotS. But I am intrigued to see how it does in the ratings and thus it is a little frustrating that there seems to be so much confusion. Some sources say the premiere had a 4.1 household rating and 5.8 million viewers, others give it a 3.0 rating and 4 million viewers. Oy.

Fin, it does appear to be fading fast. it aired its fourth episode during the week referenced above. Hard to say exactly how far it fell since we only see the top 25 syndicated shows -- it wasn't in the 21-25 spots (not listed above) either.
